So when will we see the H170 boards? I will probably go with a H board as long as it got an M.2 slot and good wi-fi. USB 3.1 is probably good to have for the future phones.

And even though almost all the boards have up to 6-7 photos. None is of the backside so you can tell what m.2 you'll fit there.

I like rearmounted M.2s. As the huge cooler often is in the way of everthing on the frontside of the mobo. A OS disc that you won't change until you rebuild the system is just to leave on the rear.

Nice thread. We should keep it open and start post all new itx skylake mobos we find. Not only z170 but all above h110 atleast. I would like to see a board with double M.2 slots, one under and one on top. Other then that it's only a board with the best wi-fi on the market built in.

I still love this case and would like to get one. Though it might be just to put it in the cupboard and wait for money enough to build a new system.

You should take photos of these things it's hard to visualize what you've done. 3-5 degrees sounds ok.

It will surely be a hot spot. But the question is more about the PSU then the GPU. The GPU can handle high temps but the PSU (specially the SFXs) will go berserk if flooded with heat from the GPU. If you have the possibility to borrow a "normal" GPU with fans pointing out from the card and test...

It truly looks like there could be a ITX version of the 970. Hopefully also the 960 (which probably will get really good TDP).

Yeah but I only run passive GPUs never had one with a fan. That's why I would like to see the A4 with a version where the case fans are placed so they move air across mobo and GPU. And also with room for a SFX PSU (mostly to get rid of the brick(but also as the HDplex/dell combo is expensive)).

My first idea was the Palit 750ti kalmx. But since there's room for larger card maybe the Powercolor R9 270.

How would this case fare with a passive GPU? I mean the actual movement of air is not that close to the GPU.

I'ts a bit sad that no one has made a heatpipe cooler for LP cards yet (so far only re-using old designs). Could probably knock a degree or two off with just a single heatpipe.

This is still something a watch. Great would be if you could change coolers but that's out of the question when the two processors are facing each other. (that's in a new case theory). Perfect would be to turn both boards upside down. Change the coolers to something twice or trice the size...

Right now I feel like buying the new gigabyte card just to listen to it. Still have problems with loud noisy computers and that is almost the only thing that keeps me from the L2 right now (that and horrible personal economics).

I've hang my PCQ-08 under my desk. Feels like the perfect solution for me. But it won't help in the PS3 situation.

This is a incredible little machine. It's simply a gaming laptop folded twice. To bad that it's running hot and loud. I would love to see the this little beast modded into a case with 2x120mm fans on each side. Making it twice the size.
