I love print books. My wife just got me hard copies of two of my favorite books, signed by the author. While I enjoy e-books for their ease of use and portability, I would take a print book every day over an e-book.
If it is the Boston mayoral shelter, be glad you didn't run into the deathclaw then. I did, and I had to run out while fighting/avoiding the deathclaw and the synths.
Most people made jokes that it would be a re-skinned battlefield. I'll bet that most of those people wish it was at LEAST a re-skinned battlefield, I know I am. It's disappointing, to say the least.
I will say, while the writing in this game certainly isn't anything special, they do a pretty good job with environmental storytelling, that's for sure.
While this game is great, I hope they take all of these complaints into account and implement the improvements into the next Elder Scrolls. I feel like this game just paved the way for a lot of the elements that will be in the next Elder Scrolls.
Lol, I have that exact laptop sitting on a shelf next to me at work. We have a bookshelf full of all sorts of old computer stuff, just for nostalgia/fun.
Just ran into this junk with my wife's phone yesterday. Thankfully we caught it before we went over, but her phone used up 75% of our data in about a week because of this. It's annoying that it's turned on by default, and there's no noticeable signs that WiFi assist is working in the background...
It's interesting to see all of these romanticized concepts about automated cars and travel. The reality will be far less luxurious and simple. I imagine it will all devolve into what basically amounts to a moving box with some couches in it.
Anyone had the glitch where the radscorpions will fly up really high into the air when they un-borrow, then fall to the ground and die? Just barely had it happen to 2 legendary radscorps, lol.
I have my suspicions that the delay for the modding tools is partially because they're working on hashing out how to implement paid mods again. The idea failed with Skyrim so much because it interfered with a long-standing, well-established community. Fallout 4 is fresh, and you can bet they're...
Finally got a chance to play a bit of this, and I must say, I'm loving it so far. It looks and feels so much better than Fallout 3 or Skyrim.
Yes, the graphics aren't on-par with more modern games, but given the scope and size, the graphics are just fine, and haven't bothered me one bit so far.
Interesting. I'm on an old Sabertooth X58 board, legacy BIOS, and my GTX 970 was plug 'n play. Glad I didn't have any issues, because I was completely unaware of this issue.
Really surprised that they haven't at least locked things with deltaTime, would definitely mitigate the majority of the weird physics/speed issues people are seeing at higher framerates.
I used to be a dedicated server engineer, worked on deploying SL bare metal servers quite often. Pretty interesting system they have set-up, with quite a few locations.
I think the exciting thing with the changes they've made to the Creation engine is the power it gives to modders. Sure, the main game is limited by disappointing console performance, but the implementation of PBR, Volumetric Lighting, etc give the modders a ton of new stuff to play with and...
As far as DICE betas going, I remember the Bad Company 2 beta being extremely solid, personally.
Either way, I'll be picking this game up. Probably not immediately, but eventually.
I'm still on the fence. While the Beta did only have 3 gameplay modes with as many levels, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, it's more casual, but on the other hand, I just don't have the time to devote to games that I used to, so that actually draws me towards it. Considering that the game at...
I've been very disappointed with games lately. I haven't played anything recently that really sucked me in. Divinity Original Sin was great, but it didn't hook me like others have.
Looking back, the last one that really sucked me in was Mass Effect 1, then going back further before that it was...
Got a pretty good job at the nearby University thanks to the feedback I've seen handed out in this thread, so I just want to say thank you to all of the contributors to this thread. It's an awesome resource for this community.
One of the biggest issues with the Hoth map, currently. If you're an Imperial and you push too far, you suddenly find yourself behind the enemy, and they spawn right in front of you completely unaware and ripe for the picking.
Also, people finally learned how to play the objectives. We didn't...
The game hasn't even be released, how can you possibly make an accurate statement comparing what should have been in the game versus what is included as DLC down the road?
The principle of Season passes, DLC, etc is sad, , nobody disagrees there, but you're making all of the wrong arguments...
I've heard and read that they're not hacks specifically for Battlefront, but hacks for BF3/4 for the Frostbyte engine, and Fairfight detects them and just bans them anyway.
Pretty sure I was in a few rounds with you, there can't be many "CaptinnNumbNutz" (or something like that ) out there.
The audio in this game is absolutely fantastic, and really draws you in. The Battlefield games have always had fantastic audio, but it's something else to listen to and hear those iconic/classic Star Wars sounds.
Honestly, I like it. It's the kind of game I can just kind of tune out and play, no need to worry about my K/D ratio, stats, whatever. It feels like the other Battlefront games in a lot of ways, which is a good thing, in my opinion. It harkens back to a simpler time, and I just think it's...
