Wake on Link is probably enabled in your ethernet adapter's power settings. Turn that off and you should be good.

I had an issue with Win 8.1 and homegroups. If I put my HTPC in my homegroup, the pc would not sleep at all. Are you sharing drives on your HTPC or have any streaming programs running on other pc's on your network?

Usually the power button on media center remotes put the computer to sleep. I would guess that your ethernet card is waking your pc up. Look in the power management tab of your card and disable everything that you don't want to use. The main culprit is usually Wake on pattern match, or link.

There is also a bug in the game where it will use all of your system memory and require a reboot to release it.

My BF4 folder is 23.8 gigs after the install was done.

The guy at microcenter knew when the board was manufactured somehow. I forgot to ask him with numbers he was looking at on the box. He said my board was made in September, so I figured it would be a C2.
