I finally sprang for one, knowing full well it's a power hungry space heater. Should get another 7% cashback through chase too. I wish I could sell the FC5 that came with it, but it looks like you need Vega or 580 cards to redeem it.
They are "locking down" these phones so they can creep into the business world more easily. Do I like it, yes and no. I've had an android phone since the OG Droid came out ( and still works ). Honestly, with all the newer, faster hardware out there, the need to root, install custom roms and...
I've learned that all companies do stupid things like this. The best way to with it is to rip them a new one on some social media site. I had AT&T completely destroy the micro-usb charger port on a S4 that was getting warrantied. They sent it back saying I sent it in that way and I was on the...
What onboard are you using? Although the 558's are pretty easy to drive, an older onboard might not have enough power to do it. When I got mine, I had them plugged into my front port, which was actually defective. They sounded cheap and muffled. Once I moved them to my back jack, they sounded...
This is one of the only thing that is keeping me from getting the GS5. My Galaxy Nexus finally bit the dust so I am back to my OG Droid until I figure out what I am going to get. Not sure if I can last on a phone that I can't install a custom ROM on....sigh
I had an issue with Win 8.1 and homegroups. If I put my HTPC in my homegroup, the pc would not sleep at all. Are you sharing drives on your HTPC or have any streaming programs running on other pc's on your network?
Usually the power button on media center remotes put the computer to sleep. I would guess that your ethernet card is waking your pc up. Look in the power management tab of your card and disable everything that you don't want to use. The main culprit is usually Wake on pattern match, or link.
Here is one thread on it. http://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-4/BF4-PC-Memory-leaking-94-Memory-usage-with-12GB/td-p/1731447
If you are affected, which I am. BF will use all of you ram and won't release it until you reboot. The game slows to a slideshow when this happens. Quitting the game or...
The guy at microcenter knew when the board was manufactured somehow. I forgot to ask him with numbers he was looking at on the box. He said my board was made in September, so I figured it would be a C2.
