    Philips BDM4065UC - 40" 4K 60Hz monitor thread

It looks just right to me. I am certain that adjustments could be made, either via the OSD or through nvidia control. My take is that it is more on the subdued side than vibrant.

    Philips BDM4065UC - 40" 4K 60Hz monitor thread

I have been following this thread for a long time. I finally bought the 4065UC from Amazon sole by bizbuy. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UBCVY02/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I think it comes from Korea. It was delivered by UPS in perfect shape in about a week. I was a bit...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I don't see the advantage of this cooler in the M1 case. Looks cool? There is no real performance or price advantage over a stock GTX770 card. The blower type cooler would seem to me to be a better fit for the M1.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

To my mind, the main reason to build with this case is because it is SMALL. I might think it would be used primarily as a lan box with room for a very good graphics card and a similarly strong cpu. It looks like a SSD and perhaps a 2.5" laptop storage drive will be the way to go. You can get...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Doing some research on the Silverstone SFF power supplies(SST-ST45SF and SST-ST45SF-G), I come away very impressed. Silverstone has a GPU supported chart http://www.silverstonetek.com/downloads/PSU/GPU-supportlist.pdf It shows official support for the GTX680 and 7950, each of which need two...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

No doubt there are ways around the inconvenience. If you do not have a os running, as when booting from a dvd, then you need a manual eject option. My take is why not eliminate whatever issues when you can?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

    1. How does one eject the dvd from the drive? Certainly removing the top panel is possible, but not really practical. If the position of the eject button is standard on slim drives, we need something there. Does a slim dvd drive operate properly in a vertical position? Perhaps the best...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Do we have an estimate of how tall of a cpu air cooler can be used? Just estimating, it looks like 120mm if there is no fan installed in the rear side mount. I am not eager to install liquid cooling, and will sacrifice some top end Overclock.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I like the power button/hdd light. It is similar to the ones on a Q02, Q07 and Q08 that I have built with. No doubt people have their preferences. I did notice that the surface is rougher than the usually used buttons. Normally, the whole button glows, with the center being brighter than...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Another new donor here :) I am planning a ITX build when Haswell launches. Is there any info on haswell ITX motherboards? I love the Lian Li connection, having built using several of their cases. I like the dual mode PWR/HDD led and the removeable panel design. Is there a provision...

    Lian-Li PC-V354 new build

Thanks for your build update. I have a few questions. I built using the same mobo, cpu, and evga GTX580 in a lian li v351 case. I love the case, but my cpu temps get high while gaming with the cpu @4.0. over 60c. I bought a Noctua U9b, but it was 1mm too tall, interfering with the psu...

CPU Heatsink compatible with Lian Li V351B

Silenx EFZ-80HA2 will fit V351 without modding. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835226029 I had hoped the noctua U9b would fit with modding, but the grill on my psu made it 2mm too tall. I wanted a tower cooler to direct the hot air towards the rear vents. I created...

    White Midi Towers?

I can recommend the Antec designer 500. It is the successor to the P150 which was also white. It is the Antec SOLO case, except in white with a 5oow psu. It is one of my favorite cases, I have built 4 systems, using the same design. The white case color is stunning. This design has...
