Take the conspiracy one more step farther. Didn't matter who got blamed NK just made itself an easy target. It was about a corporation potentially losing a lot of money over a hacking incident. Not just customer credit card info, it was bout getting it all over the news so when the next big push...
Replace my aging sapphire 6870. Great card for the price at the time but it's getting a little long in the tooth these days. Need a new card for the witcher 3 when it comes out next year.
Rebellion has already put a statement out saying if your key got revoked then talk to your seller about getting a refund and then you can email them about still getting your pre-order dlc.
Really? I considered 10 of the games not MMO's but maybe my definition is different. I don't really consider WoT, and war thunder as MMO's really but maybe I am wrong. Sure, MMO's were the largest single type of game but overall the list is pretty varied. I agree with other poster, WoW shouldl't...
I didn't think they were just sticking with cogent. Wasn't there an article a couple weeks ago how Netflix is paying Comcast for server space in there data centers to start getting away from cogent.
Was there a throttling issue with the ti's? Your power draw for them is really low. For example based on your previous review of the ti it took 410 w for a single one and sli only increased the wattage to 522 at full load. While a single 290x reference went from 447 to 707, from previous review...
Like others said this is only for pre-screening, not for normal shows that you actually pay for. A lot of this stuff is also not new.
I was an assistant manager at theater 8 years ago and most of this was standard, only thing I can think off the top of my head that is new is notifying the...
Good, to be honest I have been almost completely uninterested in this tech because I am one of those people who easily gets motion sickness from this kind of stuff. In fact even certain games or specific scenes in games can get me motion sick. Minecraft is one of them, sometimes I can play and...
When I worked a movie theater, which now has been quite a few years ago but there was a standing $500 reward from studios/MPAA for any employee who caught someone camming.
Pretty disappointing that there wasn't atleast a little bump in stock clocks. Price point is nice. What I find more interesting is the huge gap in prices between the 280x and even the most modest predictions for the the 290 non-x. Could we see a 285 or even a 285x sometime in the future just to...
AMD also incrased discrete market share for the quarter as well and increased shipments quarter to quarter. Though Nvidia seem sto be selling more profitable cards.

Console sales aren't up, they're half of what they were last year for same time period. The handheld Nintendo 3ds actually number 1 seller but they don't count in the same category but overall it was top selling gaming platform.
Except games still devalue over time, despite the liac of physical deterioriation. Also the time period that Devs are actually interested in controlling and they bring up in every argument is within the first year of a release often even sooner then that, so even if there was physical...
What if you wait a year? Does that still apply. The truth is at this point, Devs don't really care. What they care about is controlling the price of new vs used games within those first six to twelve months of a new release.
Actually you can in a lot of places, as a former movie theater...
When I was an assistant manager for a movie theater 8 years ago, I wanted to do this for our employee's but our projectors at the time were too old school and didn't have the hookups for it. We did end up bringing in multiple xboxes though and doing a small lan party on tv's. Really awesome, though.
Probably, a hundred dollars cheaper and better hardware. Now if they launch a kinectless cheaper version of Xone as well, then its going to come down to preference.
Actually, they had one of their best years last year and performed better then expected.
They increased outlook in revenue for 2012 and had a record breaking year as well as 4th quarter. Though I am curious how they're doing in 2013, reports aren't in for them for another couple weeks.
As bad as it sounds, if you read the end, it's actually better then what they what people were forecasting. While they still had a net loss of 140 million it was much better then last years 590 million for the same quarter. So yea its bad but not as bad as it could be and very well could get better.
You would be surprised then. The game took most played game on xbox 6 months after it's release beating out cod even then. It still remains as the 2nd most played game on xbox as of April 1st.
While maybe inteligence agency's need this law, apparently other parts of the goverment can already track you at will, ie the IRS.

Fair enough though I do really want to see an OC comparison between the 650 ti, 650 ti boost, 7790, and 7850.
On the other hand what I do have an issue with and would like a response, is they make the statement in the conclusion that is there a slight performance increase for the 650 boost...
I was curious about the conclusion where you say the boost has slightly higher performance then the 7850. In your benchmarks, they tied 3 for 3 games and the 7850.
Tomb raider-boost wins
crysis-boost wins
far cry-boost wins
hitman-7850 wins
sleeping dogs-7850 wins
max payne -7850 wins
I think it has more to do with people worried this ties in with the patent they applied for last year for remote monitoring for licensing purposes. http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/139706-microsofts-new-kinect-patent-goes-big-brother-will-spy-on-you-for-the-mpaa
