Information will never cease to be information. If the tailoring of information to one's profile ever becomes so extensive that the information becomes irrelevant on a useful scale, that information provider will lose credibility. There needs to be a global anchor for information tailoring...
I just got the X4 and it's pretty awesome. It's extremely comfortable and the features are just right. The price is right too ;)
If you don't like it for whatever reason, return it and try something else. I'm sure Newegg won't care :p
I went from a regular Saitek Eclipse (with the EASDFXC and 1/4 of the space bar worn off) to the X4 myself, and the only thing I have a problem with is trying to hit the escape key. I always end up switching macro key profiles instead since it's in the upper left. Other than that, I absolutely...
I played Return to Castle Wolfenstein for 7 years. The first two years I played easily an average of 3.5+ hours per day, some days going for 10-12 hours at a time. The next three years I played at least 2.5 hours per day with the occasional 6 or 7 hour tournament thrown in. The next two years...
The only reason I would ever get a 1.5GB 580 is if I gamed on a single 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 monitor. I would probably only use the triple display capability of this card for productivity. Battlefield 3 is my gold standard, so if it draws 1.5-1.8GB at 1920x1200, why would I buy a 1.5GB card...
In 2004 or 2005 I quit playing Gemstone III/IV. I sold all my characters and gear, and some of my dad's characters and gear, for a little over $11k. One of my swords went for $1400, which I thought was insane at the time. This takes the cake just a little bit.
I love the massive warranties, that says a lot about their PSUs at least. I bought a PSU of theirs not too long about for a hefty sum, and I fully expect it to be the only surviving component when everything else gets replaced ;)
When I get mine, I'll probably mark it on an edge and use pliers so I can put even pressure. That seems pretty stupid to expect people to screw them all in evenly with thumb screws (especially considering how close the left two are to the heatsink).
I would personally (and will, when I get one) swap them out for ones that are screw-able (that's what she said). That's just not right. I wonder how much pressure the average person is really able to exert with those thumb screws... and how evenly, considering your heatsink proximity is fairly...
Best $5 I've ever spent. Definitely edged out all the humble bundles I've purchased lol. I hope he starts a trend and encourages other comedians to do this... I would buy a LOT more comedy specials like this instead of waiting for them to come out on Netflix.
