I think this is an interesting idea. I do agree that developers should pay for their own reviews. However, I also think that Steam could provide unbiased reviews and also ensure that all game have better reviews than all those "would take an arrow to the knee again - 11/10". Don't get me wrong...
I have two friends that work at FB and they both got phones for free plus a data plan which is paid by FB.
That being said, I'm sure that FB is not implying Android is theirs, they are simply pointing out that Android market share is growing much faster than iPhone market share is and people...
That's a pretty ignorant statement. Although it is considered a third world country, several cities such as Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla and Mexico City have very high income per capita and trust me, everyone and their mothers has an iPhone.
Android and Windows Phone are almost non-existent...
Hi guys,
I just moved to a new city and had to ship my computer, now that it arrived I can't seem to get it to power up. The PSU just doesn't seem to be getting any juice, nothing lights up when I click power both on the case and on the motherboard.
I know it was all correctly set up since it...
Aren't these the exact same machines at the exact same price? I'm not sure if MS is actually charging a premium price for this, I believe this is just part of the deal you get for purchasing at an MS Store... I might be incorrect though...
Well yeah, you got a point, I guess I went too far saying it wouldn't mean anything. It would just be much more complicated and not worth it IMHO. But then again who am I to decide if it is or isn't worth it. :)
This probably sums it up :)
The cosmos can only house up to a 3x120mm slim rad on top without mods, and from my understanding 2x120mm in the PSU compartment if you remove the HDD bays... however, the Switch is better for WC in general... but I don't think you even need that many rads...
So the case does not come with all 10 fans, by default it comes with 1x200mm front, 1x140mm back, 1x120mm top, and 2x1200mm HDD bays... At least that's what I recall...
What I did was:
Remove the top of the case. All you need to do is remove a thumbscrew, mine was too tight so I had to...
I have the Cosmos II, it fits 3x120 fans on the top, 1x140 on the back, 2x120 on the right side panel, 2x120 on HDD cages, 1x200 and 1x120 in the front pannel. Total: 10
It houses a slim 2x120mm rad on top without any modifications, probably a 3x120 even... for a 4x120 you would have to pull...
I believe someone recommended the mid tower phantom, you should also take into consideration the full tower phantom: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146068
:)
I got the CM Cosmos II and I will say that it hurt seeing 350 out of my bank account.. that being said, seeing my system once it was all put together... priceless :) I'm in love
I know that's out of the price range you are thinking of.. but I would still suggest checking it out... I wanted to...
Well, the issue is not about energy and data consumption, they have infrastructure that is being "detained" so to speak. Even if they turn them off and stop using electricity and bandwidth, which would obviously alleviate the issue, the real problem is that they can't just delete the info on...
Reattempted resetting the CMOS memory, reformatted the USB to FAT32, replaced the bios file and renamed it "R4E" as instructed, unplugged everything and went step by step, finally worked :)
However... when I tried setting it to auto overclock I couldn't boot again lol so no OCing for now :) at...
a friend of mine suggested I check that as well, but I'm sure I only placed the ones I needed and used all of them, 9 in total, 2 of which were already on the case by default so only 7 on my part.
I don't want to disassemble all just yet considering I already placed the video card...
So I called Asus today and they asked me to do the following:
Remove the battery from the mobo
Attempt clearing the CMOS by pressing the "refresh button" on the back of the motherboard
Change the memory from the dimm indicated by the manual, the first red dimm from left to right on the...
So I tried booting with one dimm, two dimms, three dimms and four dimms, noting worked...
I could try the voltage... but I'm not sure that would change anything considering I have tried all configs, also, how could I change that considering it's not booting? Through ROG Connect?
I guess I should give some info on my hardware, this is what I got.
Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Extreme/BF3 LGA 2011 Intel X79
CPU: Core i7 3820 Sandy Bridge-E
GPU: XFX Double D 7970
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaw Series 16GB (4x4GB)
Storage: Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 120GB SSD / Seagate...
Okay, so I just tried updating the bios following that guide, no luck, tried trouble shooting with ROG connect and the only info I got was "00AF" and "Detect Memory" so I proceeded to switch out RAM dimms in and out and swap them into other slots and no luck... if anyone has any suggestions I...
So I just got that same mobo and CPU combination and I'm getting the same issue, and well I'm not a hardware pro... still learning... could someone explain how I update the bios? thanks!
PS. I'm not even getting a boot screen, the best I got was some Asus text on the screen then it went blank...
I think this could actually be interesting... if anyone used G+... well, at least it looks like it's well integrated into G+ and I know I use mine once a year or so just to dust it off...
Hello everyone, I'm new to the HardOCP Forum, I've been a reader of the HardOCP reviews/news for a few years but never really been too involved with forums but now I decided to join up and get involved since I do visit this page on a daily basis.
I wanted to ask for your opinion on a certain...
