Yeah, Me. :) I just looked up today and saw I had a couple of PM's and it was JJ from 10/04-10/05. I have been so derned busy at work or home sleeping to go back to the grind and just kinda breezed through from time to time on my phone and I saw that today on my main computer. This is gonna be...
Man oh man, AMD is really letting themselves become a punching bag on Bulldozer so far. No real use in upgrading for me until I see some serious differences. I just saved $400-$500 on a new setup by not upgrading. :D
I really liked the idea that I could monitor my computer from my netbook versus depending on all these random programs on the internet that may give me incorrect readings. The overclocking feature built in is really cool considering I used to have to pencil in and/or solder things to get more...

I have had both company's offerings in my boxes over the years. Yeah, I am proud of my current 6970 but I was seriously looking at the 580GTX as another option at the same time I was buying it too. I feel if I had bought the 580GTX it probably wouldn't have been much of a difference in my...
How about pushed back to September 19th?

Translation for you non-Chinese readin' mofos... :D J/K

I don't even fucking care anymore. When my X6 gives it up I will probably buy whatever is the fastest and affordable at the time. Bulldozer is like that drunken prom date that teases but doesn't put out and then calls you 3 days later after you just banged her friend and forgot her name. I...
Nice work! You took a completely ugly assed motherboard and made me want one, like the one in the first post of course. ;) And the skulls, top notch Ya'll.
This is crap! I had asked Xipher a couple of days ago on IRC and he told me that they were compromised, of course this was like the 10th-11th I guess? The news report is on the 14th.
Oh and, =HPSF=RMP, pylorns, and koolaidkitten, WASSUP!?! :D
^^ I'm with him on this one. Too much bullshit blowing around the internet to tell what is real or not real on Bulldozer. The 990FX boards are here and they are nice! That is all I can go with right now.
Good advice right now unless you are sporting a Pentium III, DON'T! Wait until Bulldozer releases and see where the price/performance lines fall within your budget whether it be Intel or AMD. Looking like mid-summer release despite the doomsayers claims of Q3 release. ;)
Well obviously you, me and everyone else here are right so ain't we all just contempt here. Nevertheless the OP has resolved his issue so there is nothing more for us to discuss here. Have a nice day ya'll! :)
I heard that there was going to be an AM6+ 24 core with ddr12 sextuplet channel memory next week! :p Those ass hats at Intel better be holdin on to their britches when this hits! :D
You could get a mechanic's stethoscope like I did and find the source of the noise and then decide what you want to do about it then. It also helps you find noises under the hood of your cars and motorcycles. ;)
Until the Whining goes to a "grinding" sound like My old Tagan did and POOF! goes a cap or two. In the mean time the sound is damned irritating. Sounds like something was wrong there. The OP is looking for the issue causing this, as he has stated. I put my experiences with the issue down as the...
I went thru 3 power supplies when my Tagan ITZ went out until I got this Corsair power supply I got now. The two Thermaltakes I got had 4 and 6 rails, (750w and 850w) from Best Buy because they are like 2 miles away from me. I understood there was multiple different revisions of these PSU's and...
Find a good quality power supply with one 12v rail and at least 70w on that rail. A good video card will stress out a so-so PSU with multiple rails quick and cause all kinds of coil whine in the process because it can't hande the load induced. Been there, done that. ;)
NZXT, the smaller one of the bunch is kinda nice.

My HTPC rig read B55 when I unlocked my 555 on it. Yours should too, unless it will only unlock to a triple core because the 4th core is the guilded one and then I would assume the CPU-Z code will throw off any and all kinds of BS then.
Mine didn't either.
I have been using XFX cards for years. Their warranty is second to none and their products are top notch. Two of my 5 rigs are still strutting XFX 4850's in Crossfire long after the Sapphire 5870 I bought afterward took a dump. :p The XFX 6990 would be a nice touch to my Arsenal!
And...
