TRy another connection, not displayport. Also , if you are using sRGB color space, try changing color space, I have seen other monitors resetting default br/contr when using sRGB. Tell us what o/s you are using and if you have installed DisplayAssistant, this software can alter settings...

Sorry, I thought you were using windows, the preset feature was in the Display Assistant, presets were saved on the pc and then restored on monitor at user command. It would be nice to have something similar in OSD menus but I don't think it's available. I don't know if display assitant is...
