question for Tony Ou,
is Silverstone going to release refreshed SG05/SG06 with revised ST45SF and front USB 3.0 ports, in similar fashion to SG07 --> SG08?
This is quite popular opinion many people are saying about this 300W unit and how good it is. In my case, the combination of Q6700 + 5850 + zotac GF9300-ITX+4GB+1TB Samsung 7200rpm HDD all at stock fried the motherboard after 15 of playing settlers 7. Don´t know about newer systems using sandy...
Any info what is the first matx case shown in this same video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JpH8v4nz8E/#t=0m30s ? Looks like it´s around same dimensions as SG04 or Antec NSK3480.
Didn´t take any closer look on circuits, I just saw my monitor going suddenly black and everything halted. No restart after that, dead mobo.
wonder if my PSU was somehow bad sample. The PSU itself didn´t get burned, only the mainboard.
When I bought SG06 with 300W PSU and installed Q9550 stock + Zotac GF9300-ITX + HIS Radeon 5850 stock, motherboard got burned after 15mins of playing Settlers 7. After getting new mobo I installed my system into mATX case with Antec Earthwatts 380W PSU, no problems since.
This case comes with adapters to connect front USB 3.0 ports to motherboard internal connectors? When there are motherboards with internal USB 3.0 connectors does these adapters work at full speed?
Those who own this 450W PSU, is it quiet or silent? I have SG06 and it´t stock PSU is rather quiet but has very irritating buzzing/coil whine sound, always clearly audible, but tone changes a bit depending system load. Also GF9300-I-E seems have some noise coming from board if CPU stressed, like...

Nice! I have been looking cooler with 120mm or 140mm fan mounts that would cool my Zotac GF9300 & Q9550 combo. I want to cool the whole board, been looking some adapters to mount 120mm fan to Q9550 stock heatsink. Samuel 17 looks good, just wondering if there is problem with height of GF9300-I-E...
Yes, at least the newer revision, AXP-140 RT:

The older AXP-140 may need separate socket 1156 retention module if it´s not included in retail package...
Yes it does, at least if mounted on Zotac GF9300 board:

I bought new board. Older was GF9300-D-E, this new one is GF9300-I-E. And instead of Q6700, I took Q9550 from my other machine. GF9300-I-E supports undervolting, Q9550 is running -0.1v. Should draw less power and run cooler. System booted & running fine at idle when using SG06 stock PSU and 4Gb...
Yes.
edit:
I tested the system with asus board and SG06 PSU. No boot if 5850 was installed and display got no signal. Without graphics card, using IGP of asus board, no problems. So it seems that PSU is partially damaged also.
I had the same system running on that Antec Earthwatts 380W PSU for over 2 months before change to SG06. I played COD:MW2, COD:Word At War, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Metro 2033, Supreme Commander 2 and other games without any problems. When changing to SG06, only thing that changed was the...
I got SG06 last week and today tried gaming for the first time - system shutdown after 10 minutes of gaming and no boot after that. I tested system with spare parts using different PSU and my zotac mobo is dead.
My system was: Q6700 + Zotac Geforce ITX mobo + 4Gb DDR2 + 1 Samsung 1TB HDD +...
I would buy one of these if:
- HDD cage mounted on front
- Dual slot opening for graphics card
- Front I/O WITH headphones&mic jacks. Maybe also mounted either left/right side on front panel
Also, would it be possible after drilling air holes to mount slim 120mm bottom intake fan and...
How noisy that default PSU is? If system is something high-end like Q9550 + 5850, how noisy it is at idle/full load? Anywhere near silent/inaudible, like Nexus Value 430? Besides fan noise, is there ANY electronic/high-pitch whine or buzzing?
 I´m sorry but I didn´t get the idea, do you have any pics? But if it works and is mounted firmly I think it is good enough. Another good cooler would be Scythe´s Big Shuriken, but there´s some whining about it´s ankward mounting system: it may take over 1 hour of frustration, swearing...
Can Zalman CNPS8700 cooler be used with this board if using G.Skill DDR3 Eco-sticks and SG06 case?
