look, oc'd gtx580 beat a stock 7970 in Metro2033.
if you going to post benchies next time at least show pics with resolution, aa, af, etc.
and not some ad from H because benching a video card with 3gb at 5k resolution against 1.5 is pointless.
ohhh, and dont you think that its sad that...
dude, turn off Post AA, it makes bf3 look like its running at 640x480 resolution.
bf3 engine is impressive even without any AA, all bf games looked good without AA, they dont have much jaggs like other games.
you are getting smoother experience with gtx580 because the fps is far more...
i dont know how you folks put up with amd drivers, unless its a hobby for you guys.
after the 5970 i had for just 3 days until i got rid of it i made a decision that i rather have a gpu that eats 5x times more power but with working drivers.
i personally think that amd released the 7970...
you threw in maldo, quality mod, and all the mumbo jumbo just to try to make me look wrong? its not going to happen.
we are talking about games, not some hobby that people are having with crysis mods.
and here is the latest 7970 review from X-bit...
in bf3 the 7970 is only 3-5fps faster than gtx580.
3gb of vram is overkill for 1080p.
im not saying what he should get, im only stating the facts.
but dont forget that bf3 is still stuttering with AMD cards, including the 7970.
going by that logic every Intel "quad core" cpu's are the same because it has a word "quad", rofl.
Quartet DSP in recon 3d is a much improved design over the older X-FI model from 2005.
Quartet only means that the DSP is broken up into numerous segments, it doesnt mean that the Quartet...
ok, ok, ok.
i was looking at that benchmark pic, i didnt read the first page.
i just got back from amd forums and people are still complaining about bf3 stuttering and crossfire issues in Skyrim.
i wonder if 7000 is any better.
it doesnt say that the 580 is overclocked.
maybe H should clarify things better.
it clearly saiz overclocked 7970 vs gtx 580
you can go and look every BF3 benchmark there is and you will see that a stock 7970 is only few frames faster than stock 580.
if you are planning to hook up a...
you mean like the Asus, HT sound cards? and all the awesome DAC units?
yeah, you're right, by your logic everything does stink and the Recond 3d that im using and very impressed with is useless until review samples are send out.
Genius.
im glad to hear that because i was the only one here with a Recon3D before you got yours and people were calling a "troll" and things like "how much does Creative pay you", etc.
if you had previous dedicated sound cards the Recon3D would of been even more amazing due to 100% stable drivers...
if bf3 is your game then oc'd gtx 580's in sli would beat 7970's in crossfire.
i saw oc'd 7970 in a benchmark being only 7fps faster than stock gtx580.
Recon3d has a brand new sound precessor, no more CMSS.
As for what sounds better? well, games have a far better audio positioning during gameplay, audio sounds much cleaner and has a really strong kick to it, maybe due to 600ohm amp? who knows.
im telling you, the sound in games is no joke...
dont let the lack of components on the PCB fool you these days. All that matters on the Recon3d is that nice looking processor in the middle of the sound card.
As tech gets better things get smaller and smaller, we all know the size of the first computer, we cant say now that it was the most...
base? you mean bass?
anyway, i dont believe your story.
the bass and treble balance will be in the SB control panel.
but it was a nice try to bring down a product you dont even own.
they are commenting on Recon 3d based on size and packaging, hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha...
