Thanks for the tip on the swivel stand. I see you have it in a bright room with a big window. In bright sunlight is the monitor bright enough for good viewing? I the specs, this has 250 nits, where the 24 has 400 nits. That seems quite a bit brighter for a slightly larger screen.

In my experience, connecting a high end lcd over vga is counterproductive. If you are limited to vga source, save some money and get a $100 dollar tn panel like aoc.

Buy.com has then for $310 shipped. Many people have reported poor customer service from buy.com though so provantage might be a better bet.
