Thanx blue fox, i was just hoping if there is a motherboard alterntive thats all? as the only drawback with using that setup is that you have to use the psu on/off switch.

thanx for the reply guys, only problem is with purchasing it from the UK is that, I dont know what firmware the card will ship with, and as dustin will update the firmware to the latest one 2.06 so it should be all good, otherwise the only other method to update the firmware for the card is with...

got an email from xcase.co.uk saying that they will be putting the 4224 up on there website within 2 weeks with a price £349, which is very reasonable as they are selling the 4220 for that much. cant wait to read your review odditory, looking forward to it very much.

well where in the 3rd week of june and no updates as of yet, i wish the 4224 would come out already, my ghetto setup cant take no more, lol, hopefully someone has heard from norco on an actual release date. xcase does seem expensive for the 4220, i think its about 350 quid, haileris which site...

No I dont have one, but it was one of the cards I was looking to get if it works with the HP, from a cost point of view it is half of the price of the ARC-1680ix-8 or something similar here in the UK. Any other thoughts of something similar? My setup would be a Norco 4220 with the drives...
