David, what version of Xtreme Tuner Plus did you use? I noticed that different version of their software can produce different OC results.
I am also wondering if using other manufacturer's OC software like Afterburner would improve its overclockability.
I've just recently built my SFF with the NT06-Pro. Trying to fit it all in a SG05 was quite a pain, not to forget having a Galaxy GTX680 in there too! This was all on a AsRock Z77E-ITX coupled with Corsair Low Profile RAM.
Clearance off the RAM was about 2mm, the GTX680 had about 2mm from the...
1st page 2nd paragraph, AZP-100 should be AXP.
This has long been discussed since its announcement in the SFF forums. We even had one member did some amazing test with his AXP-100 that just proves how good this cooler is.
Sadly, availability is the biggest issue at the moment but theres...
Wow! I wasnt expecting this but look who's done a review on this! I knew I kept coming back for a reason! Thanks [H]! :D
Thermalright AXP-100 CPU Air Cooler Review
Thanks doyll. The AXP-100 performs reasonably well given the size restriction. I had overclocking in mind and was hoping that it would allow me to do so. Ambient temperatures arent helping where I live too :p
I think I'll be quite happy with this considering its much more silent over the...
They finally arrived! Looks good as expected. Shame its still pretty hard to find places that have it in stock. As great as it looks, I am torn between this and the NT06-PRO which is much more easily available.
Heavier might generally be better haha, but I think there more to consider than just weight. That plus more heatpipes should theoretically help with the temps. Personally I prefer the build quality of the Noctua but seeing that Silverstone built this, you'd think that they'd make something that...
Sound profile is also something to consider when using larger fans. I probably would take one with a slightly higher temp if its significantly lower in noise. Its a shame there isnt much of a market for these types of coolers considering the ITX form factor has been gaining popularity in more...
Well you never know...they didnt show any results with the 140mm fan on full bore. I think it was only set to 1300 rpm to keep the noise down. An alternative that was suggested is the NT06-PRO but that wasnt tested or compared.
Source from some Chinese review. Page loads like a turtle with all the images, but is great because the images speaks for themselves. There's a bar chart and pictures of it installed in a case which I thought was a Lian-Li at first glance but appears to be just some generic knockoff.
Reading...
The BS2 and S17 seems almost better on paper...but we all know that doesnt mean much. I have not found a site that actually compares all of these coolers, probably throw the NH-L12 and the NT06-PRO to spice it up too.
Well the NT06-PRO is designed to fit in a SG05. Might not fit some of the Lian-Li's with lesser height restrictions. Only concern with that is memory clearance and I think 32mm is the max.
Screw pixels. Bring on the Voxel!
I've never really understood pixels, it was never quite that appealing to me considering I've been so used to vector graphics. Conversations with artists friends of mine usually ends with me proving the point by asking them to draw a perfect circle with pixels :D
There arent any reviews yet and I cant find any on sale either. Not sure how good the cooling will be going from 140mm to 100mm. Kinda wish they made a AXP-120 instead. That would almost be prefect!
For anyone that cares...its here! Cant wait for some reviews to compare its performance with other similar coolers and its big brother the AXP-140.

I personally prefer an nVidia card but the prices here are just stupid. A 670 cost just as much as a 7970 and we all know which one has better value. I might just have to look at getting things shipped overseas, but the downside to that is the cost of shipping it back if I to RMA it.
I have...
Well the idea lies in the challenge of fitting as much as I can into a small box.
I've checked out both threads which lead me to the AXP-140 and 7950. Someone managed to fit a Power Color PCS+ 7950 in their SG05.
I've previously disregarded the SG07 and SG08 because of size. If I were to...
I've been stuck picking something for a new build and welcome any suggestions! Quick answers to the questions below....
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Bit of everything. Most importantly being able to power 2560x1440 resolution in games. I jumped...
The 3 slot design is certainly not missed! Keeping to 2 slots and yet being cool and silent is a win for me. For just a little more, you get custom cooling and out of the box overclock. Picking this over a stock card is a no brainer.
