Yes, I'm sure Netflix has the time and money to go through and selectively edit through each of their movies, do their own pan and scan, etc.
While I'm sure they do some minor cropping on alot of their movies, I'm positive it's static (aka, cropping off the outer 5% of the picture)...
You'd be ahead to look off to the side when doing this test, as the edges of your retina are more sensitive to motion than the center. I'd probably be focusing somewhere on my wrist or mid-forearm for this test, to see if I could eek out an extra couple milliseconds.
Toshiba offers a demo device program (or did) allowing for the purchase of up to 7 electronic devices (projectors, laptops, etc) to be sold at something aroung 50-60% off DEALER COST. Worked well, always had a Toshiba on hand to demo to a client.
Still have never actually seen a Microsft...
iPhone would still be the leader if they didn't tie itself to AT&T at the start. The original iPhone was a piece of crap though, didn't even have 3G when even flip phones had that. My Windows Mobile phone was tons more capable at the time, and neither compared to the battery life of the...
No, desktop apps work as they always have, where you can run them windowed/tiled/fullscreen. Metro apps can run full screen, or split screen, just as they have in windows 8.
If you don't like full-screen metro apps, don't use them. Simple as that.
Considering that we bailed GM out with tax dollars anyways, I won't even bother to ask if Chevy gave them a car instead of the school paying for it. Either way, taxpayers got screwed...
I'd rather them just give away old school equipment at the end of the year. I'm sure the school has a cart...
The problem is that the guy "leaned over" to ask her to stop using her phone. If he would have loudly said "will you please stop using your phone" , then perhaps he would have gotten a different response. While there are a-holes outside of the statistical bell curve that will make a bitchy...
I'm sure that it has nothing to do with the fact that it's easier to steal items in someone's hand than objects in pockets/strapped to one's body.
Apple could significantly reduce this by blocking device access to iTunes if reported stolen, but they'd make less money that way.
NRA should go to hell, they lost their integrity a long time ago. GOA and other groups are far better for our second amendment rights anyways. If you're going to blame music, movies, video games, and tv then you might as well blame books as well. How else do you think children learned who to...
I would think it'd be worth 3 million Euro's to just sell it. Even if they can't recoup the full amount from the ship, they'll get more than 3mil even if it's just scrapped (as it should be, it's fugly as sin).
Car manufacturers, home entertainment centers, etc all did well to include the Apple 30 pin dock... they had a significant marketshare advantage. Hopefully they all switch to MicroUSB instead of the lightning connector for the same reason...
Pistol rounds (more common with street criminals than rifles) are extremely easy to make on your own. It's not like it's beyond the reach of a decent sized gang to have one idiot learn how to cast lead bullets (something cowboys/frontiersmen used to do without our technology today). Reloading...
It's a commonly known fact that Japan avoided any sort of ground assault with the US because of our second amendment rights. Secondly, the second amendment did account for private citizens obtaining military grade firearms, since there's really no difference. That's like saying a porsche boxter...
The main reason why nVidia has such poor marketshare this year is due almost entirely to the lack of LTE. The price/performance makes it very attractive for non-lte devices, such as tablets, etc.
With the Tegra4 due to have LTE, it'll get more design wins from a phone perspective, and will...
If they dropped the price of the Pro by several hundred bucks they'd sell a lot of them. If they sold alot of them, Apple would somehow find (and patent) a way to cry foul, and complain about monopolistic and non-competitive behavior.
Why not raise some hell on the way out? Look at sandbox games like SimCity, Grand Theft Auto, etc... it's far too tempting to just go crazy if you are convinced there's a reset button. Heck, look at suicide bombers...
They do realize that IF they screw up and come to the conclusion that reality is a simulation, that a bunch of idiots will go around raping/pillaging/murdering right?
You could say the same thing about any tax, and it'd carry as much merit... Caesar will collect his dues either way, might as well be realistic about it.
A. You're supposed to be paying tax on online goods anyways.
B. Most states are broke, and targeting a huge seller of goods is a cheap way to increase revenue, since hardly anyone reports online purchases.
C. Be thankful you can buy from other vendors that don't collect sales tax (yet).
D. If...
A reasonable person would know what law enforcement looks like before going to a country. They're pretty generic, so they're easy to spot. If you have a communication problem with an employee/citizen, feel free to be as big if a pain as you want. When law enforcement shows up, you shut the hell...
Intellimouse explorer FTW.
That being said, the ad was a little too long IMO... but better than their previous ads to be sure. Ahh, the Seinfeld days...
They can double their money by taking them out of the box, selling them on ebay, then selling the boxes full of duct taped mirrors in gas station parking lots across the country...
I didn't really see the tail boom in most of the shots... wonder if it's a small multicopter. The satellite view on the "proposed takeoff/landing" is near a field, so it would make an ideal RC location...
Graphics are impressive for the Xbox360. The storyline is well-varied and polished. There's maybe a touch too much time spent on cinematics, but was still decent.
Haven't touched the multiplayer, and really haven't done so in a halo game since the class/perk changes in Reach. I don't have the...
I buy online as often as I can... B&M retailers just screw you over at every opportunity you can. Went online to officedepot to see if they had the label tape I needed, went to the store and it was 30% more expensive (wasn't even on sale on the website). They pricematched it, but there's no...
