It's true that there may be virtually no difference at first, and it may even just come down to half a dozen mega titles that are absolutely cornerstones. The talk about 8K authoring in unreal engine 5 makes me hopeful they'll get ambitious.
Love the design, and the games surely looked good, but am I the only one who thought that only a scant few actually showed a glimpse of what the new SSD storage subsystem is capable of? More of them surely could and we haven't seen it all of course, but I'm thinking it may take some time for...
No I mean impossible, like your slow-mo sabrent achieving anything close to 8.5GB/sec transfer rates to your GPU.You'll see what kinds of things that enables starting at 1:00 Pacific. Sony already unloaded all the technical details recently in that long boring presentation that everyone...
Agreed. Just imagine buying a new video card with a fast 512GB SSD and Diablo IV or GTA 6 already installed on it. That's the kind of thing that's gonna happen for sure IMO, sure as you can't steer a train.
Interestingly, Sony did mention a reduction in game install sizes along those lines actually. We'll see how much.
But I'm still not convinced that's not massive. Since it's an APU, and so all shared, for comparison, my video card has 8GB of fast ram, my computer has 32gb, and my OS takes up...
Yeah I've been snoozing on them for a generation or two because I haven't been too impressed with what's under the hood. But this PS5 business is super exciting. I'm a pretty committed PC gamer, but I'm seriously considering jumping back in for this PS5 business, and it would give me a chance to...
My rough understanding is that the technology that AMD has developed with Sony and Microsoft this gen is fantastic. The PS5 is the most impressive of the two. Massive amounts of fast non volatile storage are available right on the GPU, meaning no loading. Not like Microsoft means as no loading...
My whole collection is about 12,000 records in FLAC format here. But if you think the Xbox music pass is about the fact that they stream at 192 then you really need to do more research into all the benefits of the pass. I'm don't care enough about you to explain it to you but it's super easy to...
You can get that thing into a lot of boxes, google's your pal there. If not, keep your eyes peeled for any of Corsair's cases on sale this season, because most of the recent ones fit these coolers with no mods. I have the Corsair 500R case and it's awesome, it was on sale for 60 bucks last summer.
We got to the store hours late yesterday and were still able to pick up two passes for $29.99 and another, third one for $49.99. Wow. What an amazing deal. People are so stupid for letting this one pass! :)
I have bought three of these refurbs and they're absolutely amazing. I feel bad for the few people who've had problems, but the big majority of people have these running strong with no problems. My 3570k is 100% stable at 4.5GHz and never gets over 60 degrees C even under full gaming load. Love...
Yes we all know there are some people who have old reliable Seagate drives. Well you're the lucky ones. I won't touch any of those cheap seagate drives with a 100-foot pole any more. If you want a reliable seagate, buy this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148901), or...
I bought a refurb H100 recently and it's great. I'm a big fan of these AIO units bringing reliable and inexpensive water cooling silently to the masses.
I'm surprised you feel like you have to retaliate and mock my post. You sound like an angry Seagate stockhbolder. It's common knowledge how hard drives from Seagate started failing when they moved the production to China. If you're going to pretend to know, first actually find out what's going on.
That is a good deal. Personally the RAM isn't good enough for me, but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't split hairs about 9-9-9 vs 11-11-11 timing, if you're a gamer like me you're going to benefit more from upgrading to 2400 vs 1600 speed ram than worrying about those timings.
Yes. Originally the 2012 N7 was only available in 8GB and 16GB. In October they discontinued the 8GB model, and came out with this 32GB version. The RAM they used in the 32GB Nexus 7 is much faster than the RAM they used in those 8- or 16-GB versions.
UPDATE: It sold for $170 instantly on eBay.
I am selling a BRAND NEW IN-BOX Nexus 7 2012 that has never been opened. It's the 32GB model with the fast RAM, and will update to Android 4.3 as soon as you turn it on and enter your google account information.
The price is us$160 shipped.
