Replacement monitor arrived today. Looking good and all buttons work! Haven't profiled it yet. The hardware set adobe RGB setting and the standard colorsync profile are so good I hardly think it's worth doing anyway.

Thanks for the link to the Naviset software, looks useful. Unfortunately no "unlock facility" there either and didn't rectify fault after using it to correct very slight geometry misalignment. Have two guys at NEC on my case but still think monitor is kaput...

I have the UK/euro Spectraview Profiler software. There is no "lock" facility in my display preferences....

Connected to an Intel Mac Pro, OSX 10.5.7. My 2 day old monitor will no longer accept any button input. I've tried the remedies from the manual, consisting of multiple combinations of button pressing. No luck. No lock up menu even appears as it is meant to. NEC don't appear to know solution so...
