Ah thanks for clearing that up, I honestly had no idea what to call it, I just saw some images of graphic tears and it looked similar to me.

I've just reinstalled the graphics driver and it's running the game perfectly on the lowest shader setting. Cheers for the help Dr.Stevil :D

It's a 4830 card, not built in. The driver it's using is version 8.612.0.0 if that helps, the most recent one. I haven't tried reinstalling the graphics card driver manually because I thought the update driver button would've done the trick.
