As a CS player, this mouse roundup is useless and is likely to lead people down the wrong path. It's more of a comparison of the fancy features of each mouse and how fancy they look. They even recommend the G700s! Not only is a wireless mouse a bad idea for gaming, but it even has positive mouse...
I think you're referring to Wake-on-Lan? In which case the computer is still technically "on", as it receives just enough power to keep the mobo/NIC on.
Afaik, cell phones do not have anything like this.
The waiting game doesn't work that well with Intel. Maybe waiting a month or two after the latest cpu is released to ensure all bugs are addressed, but waiting a whole year you'd might as well go with the next tick/tock (in this case, Broadwell).
edit: if I recall correctly, Miranda was in a practice session with other teammates or something, and Aris started harassing her. Somewhere in there she eventually just stopped playing and got up and left or something.
All of this was recorded (live?) on stream, which you can probably find on...
I wonder if everybody here posting actually read the article?
While I agree that on the internets, anything goes and people should learn to turn off their monitor if they feel harassed online, but this scenario happened in real life. Worse, Aris was in a teacher-student type of relationship...
This is pretty old news (several months ago, February?), and was put on blast on day 1 (see Shoryuken.com or Eventhubs.com archives).
Nobody is condoning this type of behavior, and it is not representative of the competitive gaming community. Go to any major tournament like MLG or Evo and...
That's a bad analogy. In a league game you're subject to having referees supervise the game and if you cheat you're probably going to get kicked out and never allowed to play there again (think of it as having admins on the server?).
A better analogy would probably be playing a pick up game...
You guys are comparing real life crimes to cheating in video games.
If you get robbed, raped, etc. in real life then yeah you're screwed. But if someone's hacking in a server, then either join a different server, buy your own damn server, complain to the game company for having crap security...
Ding ding ding. This must be the only guy in this thread who gets it. Hackers hack because it's fun pissing people off and hearing/seeing their lovely rage. Just search on Youtube for all the COD and CSS raging/trolling.
I would know since I used to hack once upon a time during the CSS days...
Since I usually only played popular, competitive games, I would say no. All that time spent mastering build orders in Starcraft, building teamwork in Counterstrike, playing footsies in Street Fighter, was not a waste.
Besides building up specific gaming knowledge, I learned applicable problem...
If a simple script kiddie was able to hack 259 companies, why aren't companies hacked more often? Going by the logic here, anonymous consists of millions of script kiddies, so we should expect millions of websites to get hacked daily, right?
Nobody missed it. Yes, Sony's PS Vita is the reason why there are 12 DLC characters which are not (or should not) be available yet, but that's not why the DLC is on the disc.
To clarify the situation (eg: people who didn't read the article), the reason why Capcom put DLC on the disc is to
1. save money
2. prevent compatibility issues
1. @ghost6303, they aren't necessarily hosting anything. PSN and XBL servers are, as they are responsible for issuing any DLC's or...
It says I have to turn on Web History before I can start using that feature or whatever. Does this mean Google does not keep a log of my history, and Incognito mode works just like it should?
I am a double major in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, now currently in my senior year, and I think they're both easy; it's just a matter of time and effort.
But then again, I am asian.
Uh, why wouldn't you be on an even playing field? As far as I can tell, the subscription is just for the DLC (map packs and more modes) and some extra replay slots, and clan tournaments. Nothing about better killstreaks or more guns and perks or anything like that.
Are there any 3rd party or custom grips? Both the wide and precision grips are not "grippy" enough compared to my old MX518. My thumb and pink just keep sliding all over the mouse :\
