Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yes but it is built by HP and is running windows 7. The problem is that most of you are comparing this "tablet" to a "tablet pc". This apple product is being described as a media device. Wall Street Journal quote:
The tablet is expected to be a multimedia device that will let people watch...
I am almost positive it will be under $1,000. I don't see it costing more than their lowest computer which is around $1,000 now. Most insiders are pointing at a price range of $600-800 depending on carrier subsidies and whatnot. I know a lot of you on this forum are not apple's biggest fans...
I wasn't making the fact that it wasn't "low" or mean. I was just stating that what they are doing is good business practice from their standpoint. Just stating that from a business standpoint, it makes perfect sense.
Also, I was implying RIM as having exclusivisty agreements with Verizon...
I find a lot of fault in his post. Somethings were good.
1. iTunes- I'm sorry, but I do not feel it is anti-competitive in nature to not allow other devices to sync to iTunes. It's Apple's software. You are not required to use iTunes. One person replied on the article and i agree with it. It...
Btw, My name is Stephen, I'm a broker for TD Ameritrade. I look forward to many more posting on other topics, please don't hate for my defense of Apple.
It does not imply that "larger" share, I only stated "people" because SOME people do prefer them. I never mentioned they had a larger marketshare. I just stated that Apple is growing.
Like I said previously. I bet at least 50% of consumers make uninformed decisions based solely on brand name. It's called Brand Name Recognition. It's how Nike, Sony, Samsung, Brawney, Coke, Pepsi all make a ton of money. When I say "I bet" don't take it literally, its just a figure of speech to...
Marketshare was in no way part of my argument. Apple is one company competeing against multiple companies, of course their marketshare is going to minimal compared to Microsoft who's being sold by Dell, HP, Toshiba, Acer etc etc.
Insulting the average consumer is in no way a valid response.
Yeah, Bill Gates may be filthy rich, but Microsoft's "worth" is not in cash. It is in share capital and debt obligations. $30 billion in cash is a HUGE feat for any company, regardless of what industry.
My job is reading stock quotes. I'm a licensed broker. Yeah their shares tumbled from $200 down to about $65, now they are working back up. It is stupid that people base the stock price on the fact that the CEO isn't around or may be sick. Secondly, the stock price isn't part of Profit. Profit...
Exavior:
I completely agree with your opinion. Apple does a good job with the iPhone commercials, by just showing the phone screen, and showing how easy things are to do with it. I don't look at the Mac vs PC ad's as being really advertisements, more of a comic strip out of the funnies...
Ouch... attacking the fact that I just created an account, I've been coming to this website for a couple of years, and just thought that I would shed some light on the issue for you. But go ahead and demean "newbies", while portraying yourself as the actual troll.
You people amuse me. You can bitch and moan all you want about quicktime and Apple in general, but you can't argue against the facts. If the only thing Microsoft can attack is the price of Apple computers, then they are in for a long summer. Considering that during the 4th quarter of last year...
