I’ve been reading these types of questions for years. Buying a better GPU will always make more of a difference than upgrading your CPU. Why is it so hard for people to understand.

I was having this issue with software raid of two 14tb drives. Switched out refs for ntfs and never had the issue agajn

I’ve used REFS in a raid zero (2x14TB). It would get ridiculously slow sometimes. Like 5 mb a second. Formatted to ntfs. Never had the issue again

The idea with the soft toggle makes sense. for example. If I’m at work the the wifi is blocking something. Turn off soft toggle. But when I go home. It will still connect to my wifi. Saves me from having to remember.

i tried a 1000$ compared to my $200. I didn’t see much difference. Probably better using that money to buy a better projector

You have to slipstream the drives into the windows install. I was able to get it to work with windows pro and not home for some reason.

Why not just dual boot from one hard drive.

The laptop only had one ssd slot

I have six R4 cases from fractal design. I loved one so much. I bough five more to have as spares. The r4 was nice thick metal and super quiet. I don’t think they make them as heavy duty anymore. But I’ll always have love for this company.

I got a 3900x with a gigabyte master X570. Boost goes to 4570mhz. So I’m happy.

If it helps. I charge all my devices with a 5w USB brick. The slower charge prevents devices from overheating. That could always be a good thing

I have a dellXPS 13. I find the wifi and Bluetooth in it is shit. I have intel wifi as well. My iPad gives me faster speeds Even my $30 Bluetooth headphones work better on my iPad/iPhone/Mac than the Xps. On my apple devices I can go to another room and still have audio. Not on my XPS...

I will pay for shipping and some Beer money for people’s 2TB drive. I use them for offsite (parents basement) storage :)

If the two machines are connected to a switch for internet and access to other computers in the house. Does windows automatically know when to use the 10GB Nic over the gigabit one connected to the LAN

I understand that 10GB switches are expensive. But what about 2.5/5GB switches. I don’t understand how it’s Impossible to get a decent prices one.
