Wut?
Yes, I miss the good old days when cars were made of wood and you had to hand crank that shit to start it. But they didn't make 'em worth a damn, and now I have to drive this shitty lexus?
pretty damn impressive.
maybe he should inject "dye" into the virtual pool to show how the water is flowing beneath the surface.
regardless, that looks awesome.
i think I like it.
InWin's got some funky designs.
I don't think I like what it will look like once you start plugging cables in to it though. They just kinda stick out the top or something?
I won't buy Hulu+ simply because it doesn't offer any relief from their shitty ads.
I pretty much only use Hulu to watch Colbert/Daily Show, and every once in a while a few other gems like Danger 5. I don't care about the expanded content. I want zero commercials if I'm paying for it. Same...
ok, that looks incredible on the close range shots with the people moving around etc, with the fluid angle changes. Really really nice.
However, on the wide aerial panning shots over NY, it's still a bit jumpy. and I think the problem might be that the camera is so still, that you see the...
Pandora is plenty popular, but have they ever been profitable?
I pay for my yearly service just so I don't have to listen to the same terrible ads over and over again.
Their music library can feel a bit limited at times, but after several years, I still think the $30 or so is worth it...
yup, I too had T1 connect at college at that time. I had more music than I could ever imagine (at the time lol). and the majority of it was stuff I had never heard before and have never heard since...
must see! I too am a professional and am very interested to try this. In fact, I've got a bad ass vacuum pump at work and all the fab tools I could need. did you just use packing tape to seal the ends like he suggested? that's good enough?
my last two big purchases now (GTX 670 and this OCZ SSD) have gone MIR the DAY AFTER I pull the trigger both times! They were still good deals to begin with, but goddamn!
i just picked up a set of Skullcandy TiTANs last week for $10 (Marshall's/Ross).
The general consensus is that skullcandys are overpriced and not that great.
I got them for workouts and they are a killer value @ $10.
The pronounced bass is fine for me as I mostly listen to dubstep etc when...
yes.
still tweaking things and my AA levels may be unnecessary, but I'm also using ENB with all sampling/quality controls at max including ssao etc, high detailed shadows and A LOT of 2K HD texture packs with uGridsToLoad=7. :D
Up from a pair of 6850s I really like this card. Almost want more...
the 4GB seems to have been well worth it.
according to PrecisionX and Afterburner, I'm turning out about 3.2GB buffer on Skyrim @ a modest 1080p. (Heavy mods + AA cranked to 11 and it's gorgeous :p )
correct.
The 4GB cards are just starting to roll out (evga has had one for a minute, now Galaxy and Zotac) and they are pretty much in the $475+ price range right now, so, not a bad deal if you want/need that extra vram.
at Fry's

Just bought this last week! Nice card, apparently uses GTX 680 PCB and cooler, (6+6 power tho). Too bad I can't get the rebate, but I'm going back to...
cancelled.
I guess I didn't really need to spend the money anyways, but that price was irresistible for an Intel drive!
Maybe I'll just get that sexy 256gb Samsung drive instead! I have my eye on that for a long time now :)
good article and rigorous methodical testing!
glad to know that 3.0 has no real benefit at this point in time. no need for early adoption, it'll be standard soon enough anyways (and probably still won't matter :p )
