But then again the point of contention was the build quality and not the design since other case manufacturer were mentioned in terms of design and functionality. BTW it is cramped because it is a mid tower. (not full tower) and because of the thickness of the casing panels all are assembled...

Not really. Just wanted to have the 4 drives to be conveniently removable in case I want to swap drives. The bottom 2 is for the OS RAID configured.:)

Believe the inquiry is for which among the 2 cases. If it were me I would get the 902. Better layout and built in washable filters w/external fan controllers included.

Neither, it all boils down to CFM rating of the the fan you intend to use. If it moves more air then temps will be cooler. Regarding the fan butting up against the PSU, partially blocking the airflow path of a fan will essentially lessen the CFM of that fan.

It would if only for a single rad watercooling setup. :)

Believe inherent design of the case calls for an exhaust orientation for the fan. :)

Yeah, that coolermaster looks mean and all business. 10PCI slots and able to support that new mobo board size being intoduced by EVGA. (bigger that EATX).

With that orientation, you actually free up a few mm. (screw bolt head). :)

No doubt you would, however where's the fun in that. For some of us cutting up such an exquisite case is not an option. Workaround is best. :)

Have tried that, standard fan won't clear the PSU unless you mod something. Fan placement is my choice to reduce strain on the coolant hoses being farther rather than nearer to the CPU. I can always have a choice on which orientation my fan operates, can either be push for exhaust or pull for...

Based on the pictures the fan is mounted on an intake duct. The hard drive holder on the bottom seems to be able to hold two(2) HDDs.

Tried the Corsair H50 w/this case on the upper exhaust panel. Clearance issue w/the PSU. Must replace fan w/slim profile or modify mounting holes for PSU to lower it a bit.

SFF = Small Form Factor. All I can say. Have both the Antec P180 Mini and the Antec NSK-3480. Both cases for MATX.

As in any passive cooling system optimum placement is key. Believe that passive PSUs have a certain placement orientation for best cooling efficiency.

Using a standard 3.5HDD on the provided mounting position renders the PCI expansion slot useless. Even a single slot VC would rest on the HDD itself. I ended up using a laptop HDD instead which is not my best choice. It took me almost half an hour to realize why my videocard wouldn't...

Yes, there is a 902 and it's been out for quite some time now. Somewhat different from the 900 since it has provision for better cable management, having cable routing holes and larger depth on the backside where you can tuck your wires out of sight. Addition of washable fan filters also.

Not really, the CPU cooler is the CM Gemini(top) & the VC(bottom) cooler is the LianLi BS-08B.
