Thanks for the heads up, but I am aware of the entire DVI-D DL jargon.
Actually, if you look at the specs page, you'll see that the Belkin FLIP F1DG102D does support resolutions upto 2560 x 1600, hence making it Dual Link compatible.
I've already hooked up my Arcade HDMI 360 with the monitor using a DVI-HDMI cable, and as far as audio is concerned, I'm using the digital/optical of the A/V connector(breaking off the plastic method). Also, for the PS3, I'm using a HDMI - HDMI cable for video, and an optical out cable for audio...
I would have most certainly gone for the XHD3000 if it would have been available, but since it wasn't at the time I was looking for a decent display, I had to go with the Dell 3008WFP.
Anyways, do you feel that this could help me in anyway?
Its basically a 2 port KVM switch with a wired...
Okay, here's the deal ; I have a Dell 3008WFP that has plenty of ports/connections, but I need to mount it into onto a wall so that I could use it for watching movies and playing games from a distance. Now, I'm a pretty lazy man and I hate the idea of getting up and pressing a button to switch...
Wait, isn't the 3008WFP supposed to be better than the 2709W? I mean, we're talking about S-IPS vs S-PVA, with the same no. of connectivity ports, and a better resolution, of course.
Are S-PVA panels known to produce better blacks than S-IPS panels? Also, how is the 2709W in terms of...
Here's the thing ; I got my 8th(I know) Dell 3008WFP replacement unit yesterday, this time(finally) with no backlight bleed, but with a strange little yellow tint/patch towards the left. Its not that bad, but it is very noticeable on a white background.
So now, Dell has offered to give me a...
27ms is pretty darn good for an S-IPS, IMHO.
If only it had better PIP functionality and came with a remote, it would have been near perfect.
But having said that, the 3008WFP is still, according to me, the best A-I-O monitor out there.
I play a lot of Call of Duty : World at War, Killzone 2, Halo 3, and Gears of War 1 and 2 on my 3008. Personally, I've never had any issues relating to input lag. QC issues involving terrible backlight bleed on the other hand, is probably the only thing that people need to worry about.
Even...
Now, don't get me wrong, as I can vouch for the fact that the 3008WFP is probably the best monitor that I've ever owned, with super fantastic colors and everything, but the QC issues, relating to the backlight bleed, and after considering the fact that I couldn't get a perfectly normal piece...
