It's likely that list was made before your card even existed. If you notice, it's missing all cards after the 200 series of nvidia cards and all past the 4000 series of AMD cards. Your card should be more than capable of maxing out Sims 3 imo. I would recommend updating your video card drivers...

Afaik resolution is not cut in half with 3d vision. Refresh rate is what is halved so gaming in 3d on a 120hz screen results in a perceivable maximum 60fps in each eye.

It didn't give me an option either. Order summary on the right side should take off whatever amount you applied to your account. It shows up as "gift card -$x.xx" for me. Choose pay with existing card and go to the checkout page and it should apply your gift card.

Last I checked there were very limited graphics options like only resolution and v-sync options. Don't expect to tweak AA or AF or anything like that. The game is supposed to be well ported though and it has Steam achievements.

I had no idea the U2711 was a bad monitor. I'm just basing my opinion off of preferring one huge resolution vs 3 monitors.

Go for the U2711. I just bought the U2311H and I'll probably sell off my 2209WA. If I had the cash I wouldn't hesitate to buy a U2711 instead of three of these.

I have this same issue with mine (rev A01, Mfg Dec 09, Mex). I've been debating whether or not I should exchange it. Is it worth the trouble or is it likely I would just get another defected monitor? How is the QC of these compared to the U2410?

I'll second the G500. Compared to my old v2 G5 the mouse buttons click better and the scroll wheel is much smoother to scroll there's even a toggle for hyperscrolling. It feels a little more comfortable to hold too. I recommend it highly.
