Anyone know where the Samsung 3TB is? I'm looking to upgrade 5 or so 1TBs to a couple 3TBs but would like to stay with Samsung if possible (very good experiences with the brand in the past 5 years or so...)
A quick google shows that everyone was planning on having the 3TBs out by last...
Anyone remember the name of the company that made customized aluminum cases in a fairly small form-factor? I think they were in VT, NH or MA.
Thanks!

I consider this hot as I paid $90 for the same unit a year ago (and they regularly went for $109 before that.)
--It's a nice, high-quality piece
--Modular cables
--It gives off a funky green glow out the back
--The finish is sorta mirror-like, but in a non-obnoxious sort...

I'm building a new box for a friend for general purpose and gaming, and reusing my old Antec NSK-3480 case. I bought a new PSU, SeaSonic M12II SS-430GM 430W. I didn't realize how much deeper in length this PSU would be over the stock Earthwatts 380W, and it's going to be a bit of squeeze to get...
I'm running the mushkin PSU in my sig. I recently upgraded to a 9800GTX+ and noticed the +12V line drops to as low as 11.77V under heavy load. Is this normal? Acceptable? The other voltages all seem a bit more stable than the 12V line.
By 'heavy load' I mean IntelBurnTest + FurMark...

Does anyone know of a website that lists hard drive specs and lets one compare based on whatever criteria they want? I'm interested in finding drives that are single-platter, and would love to be able to look at a list and sort by number of platters. Thanks.
Can I do two separate arrays with an ICH9R? I have six ports so I'm thinking of using (4) notebook (quiet/cheap/small) drives in RAID0 for the system and the other two ports for a 'safe' storage array with 1TB drives in RAID1. Board is the ASUS P5E-VM HDMI.
Alternatively, I could see running...
n00bie to RAID here, thanks in advance....
I have a new system and the board is being replaced. Can I move the pair of drives to the new board without issue? I will of course use the same port<>drive config.
Many thanks.
