This is useful; however it did not solve my issue.
This worked for me. It would be great to see AMD resolve this issue in a future driver. Thank you for posting this. I can now run current drivers!
This happens as soon as Windows loads. I use Windows 7 at 1920x1200. Here is another thread with users who are experiencing the same issue http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1731870 . I have not tried the possible 1920x1080 resolution fix.
I am still experiencing the screen flickering and flashing issue on my 6950 with this driver. I have been experiencing this issue since 12.10. I am currently using 12.8 drivers. I have seen a few people asking about this issue on other forums so I know that I am not the only one. I hope that...
I am having this issue on Windows 7. I have not tried changing my resolution to 1920x1080. I would really like to use the new drivers to play Far Cry 3. :'(
I am also having this issue. I have a XFX 6950 2 GB using 1920x1200. Using 12.10 and 12.11 beta drivers cause artifacting for me after installing the drivers and rebooting. I need to use 12.8 drivers for them to function properly
Today I received my my Corsair 650 TX back, some components had popped and smelled horrible. The RMA process was hassle free. The total from when they received it until today took 12 days. I have had one bad experience with Antec, they denied my RMA for a SmartPower 2.0 500 watt because I was...
I had that same motherboard. It would not work with AMD 5000 series cards. ASUS put out a BIOS update to try and resolve that issue, but it did not work for me. I had a XFX 5870 that would not boot. This was in early 2010 and they have not put out an update since then. You can try an AMD...
My fix is temp, but you can do it as many times as you like without rebooting. This allows you to get around the mode switching bug that causes all audio to stop being input/output from the Forte.
oMek, was your post deleted from the Auzentech forums? I have noticed that many of the threads and posts about Forte problems have been deleted from their forums. I am beginning to believe they are censoring their forums. Did they remove your thread?
This is what I do to stop this issue when it occurs with my Forte. If you have Windows Vista or 7 you should have the volume mixer in your sound properties. You will need to close all of the applications that appear in this menu. After you close all of them (except system sounds) your issue...
I have been running Corsair ram for 5.5 years and have never had a problem. Although I currently only have a DDR2 rig I would love to have some DDR3 for when I upgrade my system after my tax return. :D

I need to hear my games better because I only have I have an Auzentech Forte and a pair of Audio Technica ATH-AD700s. (I would be giving them to my girlfriend so she can stop playing tf2 with my iphone headphones.)
If it is not too late I would suggest returning your Auzentech products. There has been no support on their forums for months. Many of their products suffer from the same issues, such as distortion, popping/ticking, and the sound of chainsaws/helicopters coming from both input and outputs. I...
I have a Forte. The audio is great until you get pops and tics in your audio. This can be fixed by rebooting your computer. There is also the crackling static that the card has, which can also be fixed by rebooting. There are hundreds of complaints on the forte message board...
A couple months ago I bought a q9550 from MC. The processor overclocks poorly due to my p35 DS3L. I want to upgrade to a p45 motherboard I am having trouble deciding between the Asus P5Q Pro Turbo and the GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-USB3P or UD3P. The Asus board is $95 after BCB and MIR, while the...
@thrill
What speeds are you running your q9550 at. I am interested upgrading to that but I had heard that the ds3l doesn't overclock well with quads. [/offtopic]
I think I will be making this move in the next couple weeks too. It is nice that the mc deal is back. I am running a p35 too so hopefully that doesn't restrict me too much. I look forward too seeing all of your results!
