Is 4k even a viable day to day resolution?
I agree, I m using 1280x800 on 30". I just buy the monitors for their real size not their resolution. -

Try to test your game at your usual resolution without cpu overclock, note the fps. Now lower that resolution in the same game and note the fps again, if the fps gets good boost compared to the previous resolution then its not a cpu bottleneck yet. Have fun with your new sauna :) I also have 2 older 30" from dell and I cant turn both of them on for a while without using the air conditioner or the room temperature rise very quickly. I cant even imagine using 3 of them. That's why I was tempted to switch with the u3014 with their cooler... -

I read on a forum that the u3014 has over-saturated greens when lowering brightness under 40, which is required I think since those screens tend to be super bright, particularly around 15-20 brightness. And the factory calibration seems to be done at 50 which makes it useless for this. Anyone... -

Games become choppy after 20min of gameplay
I had a similar problem with kaspersky internet security doing something in the background after about 30 mins. Try to check if your av isn't doing that as well.- Keldun

I have both the 3008 and 3011 and have no problem switching input. Its just a matter of going into the menu and selecting the correct input. Both have great hardware scaler so we can put anything on them (ps3/xbox/tv etc..) without having ugly pictures due to bad scaling. It would have been nice... -

Yes it is not related to flash but less writing endurance will also affect overall reliability which is already not great in recent ocz ssd. I read somewhere that tlc was about 10x less endurance compared to current mlc which would put tlc endurance at ~500 writing cycle, and with those cells...- Keldun

I hope this is a joke, the last ocz drives already aren't very reliable, this will mean that their drive will be much less reliable after this move to tlc which was in the first place planned for use in device low number of write such as cheap usb keys.- Keldun

I have found reviews of the pantone huey pro and other calibrator that might help you here not sure how close it is to the non pro version though but the pro reviewed here actually looked correct considering the price. -
