You can slide the pins out of the connector, that is what I meant. Then you can slide those pins into the 2 pin connector (I know in my case they fit).

Using it with a cm690. I am able to have my 2 140mm fans on top and there is still a little room to spare. I'm just unable to put a fan on the top mount of the side panel, but thats no big deal for me. Very happy with the case and the cooler. Excellent airflow, good features, and its cheap...

You don't even have to cut it. The pins can be removed from the plastic connector (use a small screwdriver or something). Press the pin in slightly and pull on the wire (on the side of the connector). Swap em, and you're gtg.

CM690 is an excellent case. I'm very happy with mine and its cheap.
