one more thing.its also possible your mains are just overpowering the sub.if so the only real fix for that is a more powerful sub.

is the sub putting out anything at all?it could be crossover,or level settings.if nothing is coming out the sub out on the receiver may be disabled.

check the options in your fl studio.is it set to use a specific audio device?

is any of the sound devices set to "allow devices to take exclusive control of this device"if so deselecting this option in sound properties may fix your issue.sounds like one or the other is taking priority of a sound device.

yup using deoxit in the volume pot could be a solution as well. just to add to see if this could be your problem.start some music playing on them,and wiggle the volume knob.if you get intermittent sound that is your issue.

the poster above me has these JBL LSR2325p jbl is legendary for there sound quality.i wouldnt consider jbl home speakers anymore.there pro gear lineup is still up to snuff though.

personally my first thought is to reinstall your video drivers.ive seen this issue discussed to death at the evga forum.the hdmi audio part of your video card usually is the cause.install the video driver only,and not the sound part.
