My folks have DTV and hate AT&T/Dish. I really wonder what they plan to do.
Oddly as well, Comcast increased their internet speed from 50/10 to 125/15 for no extra cost, I wonder if Comcast is trying to "entice" them into Xfinity?
I've had to RMA two separate things with Gigabyte and both times it was very fast/easy. The problem is it's nearly impossible to understand the guys on the phone but they really try to help you out and get your problem sorted.
Also bought a 7950 from them and it was missing a screw for the fan...
To those that have used it, does it noticeably help out in other ways besides screen tearing? For some reason I just never see it, even when others watching the same screen do. Besides low framerate, the only thing that really gets me is aliasing.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt with the stuttering but something I feel that's been understated is the demo still looked terrible regardless of the reason. If you're going to try to sell me on something new, it better damn appear/be better or hold off until you are ready to show it...
I'm holding judgement until I see it in person or here on the [H] but that was one of the worst demo's I've ever seen. You could see in the bottom left with perfoverlay the CPU spikes and stuttering. Not to mention they showed no comparisons, released no info on what hardware they were using...
This isn't exactly proof but I can't imagine an Apple exec would call Samsung out on this when he knows how easily it's found.
