Need a second stick 8gb DDR5 4800 MHz for this laptop https://www.dell.com/en-us/member/shop/gaming-laptops/g15-gaming-laptop/spd/g-series-15-5520-laptop/gn5520fjzys?view=configurations
Does anyone know of a monitor mount that can clamp on vertically instead of the usual horizontal direction?
Can I buy a standard arm and modify it? Maybe but a vertical c-clamp. Anyone have any ideas how to do this?
I'm looking for a replacement sata power cable for an XFX XTR 650 PSU. I have no idea if other manufacturer modular cables are compatible, my Corsair definitely is not compatible.
The issue is I need something flat becaue my SSD is mounted at the bottom of my ITX case, but any compatible cable...
I don't think the node 202 has any intake or outtake fans. It has space for two intake fans in the GPU side of the case, but on the PSU/mobo side it only has a grill/opening over the CPU area and then the PSU fan. Should I be looking at "better" low profile coolers? I've seen some builds with a...
Ok, I'm going to investigate gillbot's gelid cooler and see if that will fit. Otherwise it might be best to go with a stock cooler since I know it will fit the mobo.
Do you think either of these coolers will be sufficient in a node 202 on a 3470k? The 202 doesn't have exhaust fans as far as I...
It might. Do you know how far it extends past the screw holes. There isn't much space on either side with that mobo. The gelid looks like it goes out a small ammount, but not sure if too much.
Looking for a stock intel cooler or any low profile cooler to cool a 3570k, no overclocking. It would need to fit this ITX mobo. Since the PCIe and 4 pin are so close to the CPU socket I'm thinking a stock intel cooler would fit.
I actually gave the one that came with my 3570k away thinking...
I recently sold my R9 390, so now I'm free to go with AMD or Nvidia. Problem is I also have a freesync display, BUT I'm still within the 30 day window to return it to Amazon.
So knowing what we know now, how would you guys proceed.
A) return monitor and wait to see what happens with RX 480
B)...
Comes with box. It did not come with any accessories as far as I remember, just the backplate which is included.

Local pickup (Irvine or Los Angeles depending on where I'm working that day, could be as north as similar valley some days if you are out there): $220...
Looking to downsize to a smaller case for travel purposes. Just looking for a cheap mobo, not a ton of preferences as I don't OC my 3570k at all even though I should.
OK, after setting it up my PS4 doesn't look that bad at all at 1440p. I'm sure once I mess with the settings it'll look even better. If you move back maybe 6 inches you cannot tell it is not a native 1080p display. Haven't had time to try many PC games out, but as of right now the games I would...
I don't feel IPS is overhyped, the benefits are there, but not to the degree than some people proclaim. Everyone has priorities and for me I would take lower input lag over better color any day do the week. It is why freesync is important to me. I don't see myself buying a new GPU until well...
I'm honestly not seeing as huge of a difference between my IPS and TN panels I own. I hooked my older ASUS TN panel side by side with my current IPS. TN looks a bit washed out, although it also has a matte screen, compared to my Dell IPS. But for non color-sensitive work I don't really see it as...

That's an option, but if I am going to spend money on a new monitor, especially as 27" as it will take up most of my desk space, I'd like to only need to use one display. I'll see how it looks to my eyes before going the dual monitor route.
Most reviews and people who own the ASUS MG278Q say...
Hmm. Well I I guess if it looked that bad I could just use my 1080p/60 monitor, but that would suck. I'll probably return it if it does indeed look blurry.
Well, yes, but I would only like to have one monitor hooked up at my desk so my PS4/Xbox would have no choice but to be hooked up to the 1440p monitor. I'd be getting this mainly for PC, but would also be using my consoles on it since it would be my main display.
Would a 1080p PS4 look worse on...
I've been looking to upgrade my current 60hz monitor to a freezync one since I have a R9 390. Although I do have some reservations of going freesync since with new GPUs coming out I could see myself going Nvidia, but I would essentially lock myself in if I went freesync and bought a ~$400...
Thanks for the offer. After researching a bit more I think I am going to hold off on getting an "expensive" 1155 mobo since it is just a replacement. Going to look in the $50-60 range for a used z77 for now and save the extra for an eventual CPU upgrade in a year or so.
Looking to replace my dead 1155 board with something that can overclock my i5 3570k and also handle ram faster than 1600 mhz.
ATX or mATX. Looking for something in the $50-60 range.
