MCW? What's that? I need a different way to turn down the brightness on this thing. I currently have brightness set to 0, and still have a long way to go to a blacked out screen.

Checked there... Nothing but a serial number. 5180C72000450. I went through a total of 3, before keeping this one. One of the others had a serial number that was within 10 of this one, the other had a number in the 500's. Both of those had horrible buzzing. The odd thing about this one...

I don't think people are blowing the buzzing noise out of proportion. You just got lucky with your first. :) The first 2 monitors I bought from Best Buy had really bad buzzing. The third was tolerable. I just don't want to give up on this monitor since it looks so good. Much better than the...

Yeah, this buzzing isn't good. I have the Samsung 245BW and L2410NM in for comparison. The L2410NM is a tad sharper, with no backlight bleed, but the buzzing just about kills it for me. I have to be able to turn the brightness down. I sent an email to Westinghouse, awaiting their reply.
