Are you sure it's not just image persistence? I had this 'issue' on my FP241W, but found that re-arranging my desktop, changing wallpapers at least every month, and having the monitor turn off after 10 minutes of idle made the persistence disappear pretty quick.

I second the monster cleaning solution, I picked some up on amazon, does an especially good job of repelling dust on the glossy displays.
