Hi, I had this monitor for 2 weeks (UK) and I could not accept the screens colour shift and so returned it. I contacted NEC and was told on this type of screen it was acceptable..I said for £630.00 it was unacceptable, hence I returned it. In my opinion every other aspect of the monitor was...

Nice one, thanks for posting your findings. Can I ask do you play any fast or fps games online? if so how does the lag feel to you personally? Have you any backlight bleed? if so is it noticeable when in normal use? thx. If the LG W2600hp reviews are pretty limp, I might get the NEC.

A couple of big online stores in the UK have new stock and are selling these monitors as we speak but I dont know what revision they are. I think buyers have been put off ordering these incase they are not a new revision and have the same old problems...

yea its all a bit vague, but if you look at the 3d view on the LG Global site, it shows what look like component connections halfway up the back.

Well....nope, here in the UK it has disappeared from a few sites and the ones that still list it still now state they are waiting for a new delivery date, also the price has jumped up...from about £550.00 to £650-£700 quid. not the sorta news we wanted.

Sorry to see you have problems with your new screen :eek:, I was going to order one of those from overclockers too but im a bit worried about their RMA proceedure (ive seen a few forum posts complaining about them). Hope you get it all sorted, maybe it was just a one off. I like you thought...

That lag is a real shame, I was hanging on in there for this monitor. I had guessed there would have been some lag at scaled resolutions but I had hoped at its native 2560x1600 no scaling would be taking place....sigh. It seems my quest for a 30" with low lag is faltering. The 3007 cant be...

In the UK Dells site lists 3+ weeks. Another site that sells alot of Dell says the 3008 is delayed until march with a "thanks dell" sarcastic remark. On a plus side Dell UK does have the 2408 listed tho, ships in 2 to 5 days.

I am also in the market for a 30inch.The possible lag on the Dell 3008 is a concern for me too, but like Mr Wolf Im very interested in what the Dell 2708 might be like. Its getting tiresome waiting, everyday I search the interweb for news but I guess it will be worth it in the end :confused:
