It is far far far smaller than a regular bezel and so much less of an eyesore for those that are aesthetically oriented. That's personally why I chose the Dell over another monitor.
I was in a similiar situation and bought this for xbox one:

Mostly, I wanted a high end looking monitor but only needed the 1080p. Dell really hit the nail on the head with this one and I've loved it. I wanted...
15" laptop screens are your best bet for matching resolution and scale. You will not find a "prebuilt" monitor that will line up and act as a solid PLP.
They are actually very tiny, commercially made to be almost frameless for multi-display. They can get down to like 2-3mm I believe, but are quite thick depth wise. Also very very expensive, looked at getting one haha.

I'd personally go Dell, much more mature design language. I have the 27 and it's great, but I think most multi-monitors use the 24:

Here is the monitor I have...
Since the 34" 21:9 is nearly identical height wise to a 27" 16:9, this comparison works.
People have used 15.4" laptop replacement screens, which match vertical resolution (1440) to make a PLP setup.
Perfect! I actually pulled the trigger last week on one, shipping is oddly slow being direct from Dell but it'll get here Friday! I'll post more impressions as well once it gets here.
Hey guys, with the release of the new Halo MCC coming out soon, I was hoping to get a new 1080p monitor solely for console use. I used to play competitively and have always found playing a monitor at a desk to be the best way to play.
I don't really have a budget and can swing whatever, but was...
Thinking about getting a 4k TV to use on my computer as a high resolution display, as well as just as a TV as well.
Would buying a lg UB8500 that can display in 4:4:4 be a good color accurate display that is also somewhat future proofed? (IE something better won't come along really soon after?)...
Posted this a while back and nobody really noticed, kind of a nice midrange display between 2k and 4k.

I think people want these lower size (24-27") monitors less for the display space and more for the clarity and fidelity that a 4k offers. Like a macbook retina screen.
Would be interesting to know where the center of the curve is distance wise from the monitor
What is the recommended sitting distance from a 32" monitor?
http://www.engadget.com/2014/06/03/asus-curved-led/
Asus claim it to be the largest curved monitor.
VA Panel
2560x1440 (WQHD)
Priced somewhere between low and high end 4k (800-1500?)
Seems interesting, now if they could just combine this and the 34" 21:9 monitors I would be in heaven.

Here is a link to an album someone posted on reddit (NOT ME, I wish) that shows the 34" next to a 27", though no amazing pics.
Realize it's the 1080p version, but it's the same size.
Does anyone have a pic of this or other 28" 4k with 4 1080p windows open? Want to see scale of everything, very interested in picking one of these up for productivity
I know nothing about HDTV's.
So I've always used monitors as a college student in the dorms for everything from external laptop screen to my xbox 360, but I'm starting to want a real TV.
I play extremely competitive Halo among other 360 games, and have played on quite a few TV's with poor...
what is a black jerker?
EDIT: you mean the desk. That's my bro's desk and he just cleared it off becuase he went back to college from winter break so its not getting use right now.
My opinion may be a little skewed because I think the chicklet style macbook keyboard is the best in the whole world haha.
I love it. I thought I could type fast and accurate on my macbook, but when I got this keyboard I can type like 5 times faster than on my macbook. I think its the slight...
Fair enough, my compliments to you guys on making an awesome headset :]
I was at PAX last year and just couldn't stand not having them haha, so I asked for them and ended up getting some from a friends dad who we let his son stay with us over the summer. Worked out well for me haha.
Sorry...
False.
My HD555 are MUCH better headphones for quality than the a40 system. The a40 really lack in the lower bass tones (I'm no audiophile, excuse my language use), the use of surround sound in them makes it sound like it jsut has multiple tweeters in them, but that have a MUCH better...
Yep is the astro gaming a40 audio headset, mlg edition.
I REALLY love the headset, I saw someone with three monitors earlier and one of their wallpapers was the astro gaming headset lol
Horrid pics but I did a quick reorganization, and bought a new keyboard. I'm aiming to sell these monitors and get two dell 24" monitors.
The best headset I have ever used.
I love it. my friend is staying with me so wires are everywhere and his xbox is on table.
That is two hanns-g hg216d, white macbook hooked up to external display, two xbox 360s, and two astro gaming a40 limited headsets (got mine for free :D )
Life is good hehe, finally got a job so now...
Alright, thanks guys, I'm most likely going with the Westinghouse as well.
Does anyone know how often you can find the monitor for cheap? I've heard people grabbing it at Best Buy for like 350?
I'm getting a new monitor for HD gaming on my 360, I'm a hardcore FPS player, mainly Halo 3, and I want to be sure the response time won't be something that is noticeable to me.
So my choices that I've come up with are the Westinghouse L2410NM or Spectre X24WG
The Westinghouse has a slower...
