classy? like the [h]appyass review of it? u guys shouldn't even care about the d14, its such an expensive crappy cooler that doesnt stand a chance against other top HS's
i dont understand how a properly installed barb / steel worm clamp can have a leak without someone loosing either the barb or the worm clamp. tubing doesn't come off of car parts with "weaker" pinch-clamps and cars constantly vibrate and hit bumps at 60mph.
i'm sorry but i'd call bs if you say...
no that won't be enough even if u use 3000rpm 120x38mm fans. anything less and definitely not enough w/o beating air cooling.
the i7's are hot and the 4890's are warm, i'd suggest an RX360... or two swiftech MCR320 stacks...
w/ 1200-1500rpm fans and you'd be very quiet
i'm running Memtest86+ v2.01 from a boot up disc to diagnose a freezing problem i encountered.
my ram is 2x2gb G Skill DDR2 1000 5-5-5-15. i set it to 5-5-5-15 800mhz since that what i'll be running at. 1.9v also.
i know that 1 pass takes longer w/ more ram so the "24 hour rule" doesn't...

you can see there, that my load temps are around 50ish for Q6600 @ 1.4vCore and 3.6ghz
i agree that swiftech has great customer service
EK, while i haven't had much experience with (just one) mad me pay for a missing o-ring + shipping. Total came out to about $5.50 but that is infinity times worse than the $0 that i had to pay swiftech on 2 different occasions: LGA775 backplate...
i need to install something in my haf932 that requires 3 x 5.25" bays and requires the usage of screws to mount. (a 3 bay to 4x3.5" HDD converter) how can i remove the plastic mounting mechanism of the 5.25" drive bays?
Don't really need anything else other than overclockability/stability.
USB's are always good, a good onboard sound is good in case i want switch from my audigy2 zs. other than that i dont need raid/firewire/dual lan/ crossfire is a plus.
how does the p35/p45 DFI bloodiron compare to the...
I've been given the offer to receive the "EK-FC88 GT/GTS (G92) Acetal" (free from jab-tech, THANKS JOHN!
The missing gasket (o-ring) for it is in the mail from EK direct.
How does this full cover block add up to other gpu only/full cover blocks for the 8800gt on the market? is it the top...
so what case would u recommend to water cool?
would that case be better for WCing than the HAF932 for $150?
with some cases, there is no need to do any DIY, which is always better
that CPU block is uber restrictive, it'll starve your other blocks in the loop and slow down the flow
either change your cpu block or do another loop for your other components
the haf932 is a cheap $150 case that works extremely well with WCing and cable management. Quality is nowhere near LL and ST quality, but the ability to mount a 3x120 radiator on top is great!
prepare to rinse out all your wet parts, most coolants aren't completely neutral and can be conductive. rinse everything out with distilled water. scrub with toothbrush if necessary
don't spill coolant ;)
i may be hearing a noise coming from my Swiftech GTZ block. i'm about 95% sure its coming from there since its not coming from any of my fans and i cannot stick my ear close enough to it to say 100% that its the GTZ and not my MCR320 radiator. but i'm leaning more toward the GTZ.
the sound...
i forgot what the inside looks like, but what does that matter? flow is limited to the barbs which would be 1/2" anyway.
what are you using this T for? substitute for a reservoir or as a drain line?
i'd suggest more than 8 feet, more like 15. You wouldn't want to re-order 3 feet of tubing for $1.50 + 8 shipping would u? you're going to end up needing it anyway.
no, no barbs were included, just the black box.
i used that T for my drain line which consisted of:
DD Delrin/Acetal T (above)
DD (or any other brand) G1/4 Male-to-Male
Alphacool G1/4 Ball Valve
BP G1/4 Low Profile Plug (came in package of 2)
order used is exactly as i stated ^^, so...
not copper but i have the DD Delrin/Acetal T foud here http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=342&products_id=21439
all i needed was 2 additional barbs
only get the reservoir version of the MCR320 if u can mount it vertically, with the barbs side on the bottom. thats the only way it will work. if you can't do that, get the regular or stackable version.
My suggestion would be to get the regular one with a MicroRes for more flexibility and you...
the HAF is a great WCing case. not the best quality, but can easily mount a 3x120 radiator on the top.
look at my signature, i have all that mounted internally of the HAF932.
i do not overclock to the absolute maximum
i do not change hardware every 6 months.
i have not "fried" or damaged any part in the last 3 years, and none relating to my Wcing.
There isn't any more maintenance with WCing than air, its just turn on the pc and turn off the pc.
WCing is not...
bitspower has very good/best fittings, if u got money for paying 3x the price/fitting, then get compressions.
swiftech has best bang/buck radiators and pumps
Blocks and Reservoirs are up to you.
i never bought from FCPU, they're expensive. go elsewhere.
an upgrade to the GTZ may improve your temps 2-4C, but what is the rest of your setup? adding or replacing a radiator may give you more of a temp decrease than a block upgrade.
