Hi everyone, This is part advice pandering, and part self reassurance, please bear with me as the 'Order Now' button sings like a Siren.
I find myself fighting off the upgrade bug... I have it bad. I am still running an i7 920 on an X58 Rampage II Extreme, and that has served me well over the...
How do you feel this would compare with a Kaveri build?
I built a cheap system a couple years ago using the top end Richland APU for my son and he loves it. It seems to play all the games he is interested in.
I have limited experience on budget builds as I typically tend to splurge on mine and...
Thank you bmh.01. That info certainly steers me back in the right direction.
If I am understanding you correctly, I would simply select which NIC to use when setting up or editing a VM... And If I wanted to dedicate a particular NIC to only be used by one specific VM, I would simply NOT use...
I just built an ESXi server for unRAID/WS2012/Ubuntu on a X9SCM‑F. I would like to give unRAID it's own dedicated NIC, but since the 82579LM is not directly supported in ESXi, I was looking at getting a PCIx solution. (I tried Chilly's driver, but it wouldn't survive a reboot for some...
I got two of these as gifts and need only one, so I am selling the other. You can download the client from battle.net.

I prefer Amazon Payments, but Paypal would be ok also

Hey everyone, I am dealing with an issue I was hoping someone could help me out with. A favor I wouldn't ask for if I wasn't willing to do the same.
I have been struggling to get my Xbox Live profile fixed. It has gotten corrupted and I cannot download it. This all happened at a system...
Bump for a fellow MIgander. I'm in Ann Arbor and would love to get this drive. If you still have it when taxes come in about 10 days, I will buy it from you :)
Hi Sagan
If it helps, I could probably repair this for you. I'm not sure where you are located, but I'm around the Ann Arbor, MI area. I have the older 4.1 version of this but on mine, the driver is blown. If you end up giving up on yours, maybe we could work out something for your driver.

I had to look to see and found that these are socket 1366. Would this work in a "non-server" specific X58 board? I would guess it depends on bios support... or does it? I have a R2E that would love to nibble on one of these :)
yeah, when you register in EVGA's site, you have to upload your original invoice, that would show the main purchase date. Great cards here and a good price even at original asking. :)
Thought I'd chime in here with a friendly informative bump. You have a great set there.
Since DLP relies on a series of mirrors to direct the light instead of LC panels in LCD's, the terms "60hz", "120hz" etc, don't exactly apply. On a DLP set, you are not limited by the draw time...
Just a friendly bump for a great Xbox 360 hackable drive. I just put the 250GB version in mine, but was considering this drive before that. Someone grab this and save $130 on a 120GB Xbox drive!!
(for those that need some help, this is a pretty easy tutorial. You would just need to replace...
Hey gang, I have been out of the loop for a few months and a quick search here found nothng definitive. I was wondering what the best videocard out right now is. I know this will depend on your nVidia/ATI bias... but I hope to avoid that. last I checked, the ATI 4870 X2 was ahead. Has the...
I believe its a ThermalTake... though I will have to double check. It was a pull from a system about a year ago. It still works great. I may have to use a couple adapters for SATA power, but I'm hoping it will be fine.
Wish I knew. I asked Becky (my Aunt) to get at least a model# for me the next time she speaks with her boss. My cousins are 11 and 13 and quite mature for their ages. It won't be long before this machine gets taxed with more than WoW. As their tech support, I would hate to have to explain...
So I am talking with my Aunt last night and she mentions that she is buying her boys a PC for Xmas. I said great! I'll start putting something together and we can order the parts this next week... she then informs me that her boss at work has a machine she is selling for $400 and she might...
Good evening. I know you want to sell the system complete, but if you do decide to part it, I might be interested in the case and RAM. I have the Tyan 2460 dual MP's in a very similar setup to yours. It's a nice file/web server. You hardly need more power for a good Xubuntu server. Someone...
So it seems I Will need the charge cable after all. I don't know what I was thinking. It's not going to charge itself. I will look around for these items you guys mentioned. much obliged

Good evening [H]!
Is it possible to use a 360 controller (with the USB charge cable) on my Windows gaming machine?
I have recently been given a 360 controller from a relative that had an extra. It's just the controller and rechargable battery (no cable). When I went to the store to see...
I was able to resurrect my old Dual Athlon MP 1900+ machine. Its been sitting in a corner for probably two years now. Seems like it was the memory.
I noticed that the Xubuntu liveCD had MemTest on it, so I decided to run it (I've never had any luck getting a MemTest CD to work) and was...
This definitely seems like the way to go. One question though... I am setting this up on my previous file server (in the basement). Could this same machine pull double duty? linux router *and* file server? I would like to continue keeping all my media files on this machine. Will they be as...
Thanks for all the great responses! I have been browsing Newegg and eBay and will be paying closer attention to Netgear as recommended.
Dawizman, it's funny you mentioned setting up an older machine for my router. What sparked all this was a post I saw here yesterday with some good links...
Hi all, I have about had it with my home network. The Frankenstein setup I have is no longer cutting it (not that it ever has) and I want to make the best decision I can with the least amount of sacrifice possible,
I am currently using a DLink DGL-4300 router and an older Vonage (Linksys)...
