You're complaining about extensions on warranty?
Corsair gave me 30 days on a recertified $200 SSD. Not even my original warranty which had another year on it, just 30 days.
AMD Athlon X2 250
2GB RAM
1x250GB 2.5" WD
4x2TB WD
1x2TB Seagate
2x2TB Samsung
2x70MM fans
55w idle
70w streaming
125w parity update
Wouldn't mind moving onto an FM1 board but still waiting on a board providing x8/x8 for two RAID controllers I have. Along with a A4-3300 which looks...
Another group outed them as script kiddies finding weak points in ANY website available. They also outed their names, addresses and other various stuff.

Has OP actually tried Synergy?
You don't need to spend $89 bloody dollars when there is free software. Firstly you don't need a KVM you need a KM, this is what Synergy is. If the laptop and computer are hooked up to the monitor then you don't need any middleman hardware. I can understand...
Err no.
OP stated they would be switching inputs on the monitor. Which means you can use it as two monitors. Synergy can do this, as I done it for a gaming computer (which was hidden away due to noise) that used my atom desktop PC as input on one monitor.
What I personally done was setup a...
I think maybe you should actually look at the idle usage of the 5870.
From memory it is only 20w in 2D mode. And Crossfire switches off the second card in 2D mode.
Awesome, entering "ufs:/dev/label/MESA-SYSTEM" worked and I'm up and running.
I'll set up a RAIDZ and have a play around tonight with it.
edit;
Going good so far! I actually prefer it over Freenas already :D Got a pool up with 2x250GB drives in RAID0 as I can't find a third drive to test...
Same as above just my output was a bit different.
List of GEOM managed disk devices:
label/MESA-SYSTEM da0s1a da0s1 da0
Loader variables:
vfs.root.mountfrom=ufs:/dev/label/MESA-SYSTEM
vfs.root.mountfrom.options=rw,noatime
I used the same method as I normally use for Freenas, using the same usb drive as well.
But anything more than that is out of my league. I'm guessing my error is a formatting issue of some sort.
Oh well that was short lived as I get errors while trying to boot.
mountroot> GEOM: da0: partition 1 does not start on a track boundary.
GEOM: da0: partition 1 does not end on a track boundary.
GEOM: da0s1: geometry does not match label (16h, 63s != 64h,32s).
Any ideas?
@sub.mesa: what about using Physdiskwrite instead of Winimage. You just use the command: physdiskwrite filename.img
Use the -u tag if the disk it's writing to is over 2GB.
There is a GUI version as well but I've never used it.
edit; the GUI's in German so rather useless.
edit2;
Using a 1GB...
As above use DBAN. But do it as soon as possible if you plan to get rid of them by noon tomorrow.
Depending on how big the hard drives are it could take a while. I just recently done some 250GB HDD's which took around 3 hours for all of them. Also make sure only HDD's you're selling are plugged...
Still getting GSOD even after 10.2 updates. Only happens when gaming.
AMD Phenom II 940 BE @ 3.0GHz
DFI JR 790GX-M2RS
Corsair XMS2 2x2GB DDR2-800
Windows 7 (64bit)
Sapphire Vapor-X 5870 GSOD's in all games when settings are turned up so I've been waiting for the newer supposed drivers that fix it. Not really gaming much at the moment so no reason to return it.
I keep coming back to it. Its a great game and has a good modding scene as well (graphics enhancement, battle extender etc). Also very soon it'll be rocking multiplayer.
For $5 its well worth it.
I quickly skipped over the thread and saw no fix for this. I WTF'd as well so went about fixing it. Type in about:config in your address bar and in the filter bar type "mousewheel.withnokey". You should get three options, change "mousewheel.withnokey.sysnumlines" to false by double clicking the...
They are driver issues. A single HD 3870 was getting higher scores then two in CrossFire in certain games. Like the post before me you can't compare a card that has been out for a year with many driver dates against a graphics card that is not out and has no official drivers.
I got my AD700's a few weeks back and they are better then my old A700's and A900's. Most probably because they are open cans. Money well spent.
Different preferences though I guess. The closed cans sell more.
BIOS F7 onwards has support for 45nm CPU's. My DS3R came with F4 two months ago.
I'm pretty sure they still boot regardless, the BIOS asks you to update the BIOS because of an unsupported CPU.
You could get a HD 3850 512MB. Then you could use the full 512MB. Also the cards run at their own clock speeds so it should be fine. Dunno how much you would save though.
The game sort of died down a bit after a while of being released. I would probably wait after bug fixes and people come back etc. Also the monthly fee is optional (includes updates and more areas).
