No great games is a big time myth. IMO, PSP has the most quality games out of any platform released since late 2004. There are many great games which are non-ports. I own over 50+ PSP games and love all, with many more I would want.

although it's VG Chartz, I 100% believe it. When I picked up my preorder at GS, 2/3rds of the people in the long line were buying the PS3 version. My GS also sold out of the PS3 version to non-preorders and only had 360 copies left.
Actually, this has nothing to do with the 360 just having a higher demand than normal. One of the 360 manufacturers opted out months ago, so MS is now down to fewer factories to produce the 360 with.

I got the game on Tuesday at GS. My GS also ran out of the PS3 version to non-preorders, so thankfully I preordered my copy (I got the PS3 version). So far the game is great.
I can understand. Only my Xbox consoles have broken, which is why I don't bother making them my main consoles (and supported my PS2 more last gen, and my PS3 more this gen). MS customer service is a pain to deal with.
I'm debating about getting this game. The demo was okay, but tons and tons of my PSN friends love it and want me to get it, so I may give in to the peer pressure. I do love the idea of taking my picture with the PS Eye, every time someone crashes into me. :D
Yeah, I think there's a bit too many these days; however, they are the genre that sells in North America. I like JRPGs, but since they usually don't sell, we don't see all that many.
PS3 IMO.
Ratchet & Clank: Future and Uncharted are the two best next gen games. 360 is good too, but I give the edge to PS3. Also, PS3 has the best 2008 lineup for sure.
I disagree because PS3 at least allows free online multi-player and all XBL games are P2P (none are dedicated server like PS3). The only thing I can do with a silver account is send messages, but that's almost meaningless when I can't even play anyone at a game.
IMO, $50 is not worth it for...
Having a working console is the most important. I can find good games on any platform anyway. Most all good 360 games are on PS2/PS3 IMO, and the difference is too minor to make a fuss over. One reason I didn't support my original Xbox much was because it gave me lots of problems. My PS2 was...
I can't seem to log into my PC to get some content (using my PSN email and password).
I have a PS3 thankfully, so I can access my content that way (except for the PSP demos and such).
I think the 360 always having the best version of multi-platform games is WAY overblown. I've played both versions of multiple multi-platform games, and the difference is extremely minor IMO. The only reason I think people say the 360 version is better because of rumble (I don't care) and...
I'm a little curious myself. When I saw the game getting revealed, I thought it was going to be a sim like GT. After playing the demo on PS3/360, it seemed like it wanted to be a sim, but reminded me more of Most Wanted/Carbon. I thought the demo was easy, but didn't know the full version can...
Most, but not all. Resistance, Killzone, Halo, and Rainbow Six 3 are okay for me, but games like PDZ, Quake 4, and many old FPS made me feel sick. I remember once day I played PDZ, I ended up feeling really dizzy and had to spend all day in bed. That's why I traded the game in.
I definitely agree with you. As big of a Ratchet fan I am, this game just amazes me more (actually, this IS the next gen game to amaze me the most). Everything from the graphics, sound, storytelling, etc. is near perfection. I think the shooting could use some work, but still pretty good...
It's tough to saw between the PS3 and PS2 controller. I like the PS2 one better because it feels more solid and lacks triggers. I like the PS3 controller better because the analog sticks are better and the D-pad feels better. Overall, I'm giving the edge to the PS3 controller.
360 has a...
If it's a game I really like, I'll have the urge to play it again or go back to certain portions. Also, by buying the game, you support the publisher/developer for their work and hopefully the game gets a sequel because of that.
I'm looking at checking GS later today to see if they got it in.
I ended up preordering Uncharted today at GS. I heard rumors some stores may be getting the game early (although Sony says otherwise). If I get it this weekend, awesome, but if I don't, that's all right.
Actually, where I live, Wal-Mart is worse inside; but most K-Mart's have closed in my area, or a distance away.
Anyway, I know of a few who got it, but I was considering checking the K-Mart in my college town just to see if they have it in.
I think the Top 10 exclusives would be:
1. Ratchet & Clank Future: ToD
2. Tekken 5: DR Online (Being arcade perfect with online sounds exclusive to me)
3. Folklore (Highly underrated IMO)
4. Warhawk
5. Ridge Racer 7
6. Resistance: Fall of Man
7. Formula One: CE
8. Eye of Judgment...
I'm perfectly happy with the length of Uncharted. I haven't even beat Ratchet yet and already have several games to play. I also don't have a lot of free time, so I'm glad the game isn't too long. I rather have a memorable short experience than a long and monotonous one any day IMO.
I mostly disagree. I'll admit that EA is still doing terrible ports on PS3 (except for Tiger Woods and FIFA this year), but most publishers seem to be getting much better. DiRT is actually slightly better on PS3, and even CoD4 on PS3 has its advantages. GRAW2 looks very close between the...
Yeah, that's pretty much true. It sometimes bother me when people complain there's no in-game XMB yet (or access to certain XMB features), when the entire reason we don't have it yet is because of lack of RAM. Sony not being a software company is part of the reason the XMB eats up so much RAM...
The game got a 9/10 from Eurogamer and a 4.5/5 from Gamespy.
The demo rocked and I'm glad to see it get pretty good reviews so far. I can't wait to get the game soon.:D I'm glad to see many reviewers mentioning its impressive graphics, because it's definitely the best looking game I've seen...
This game is the entire reason I bought a PS3 near launch, due to being a big Ratchet fan. Yeah, the game definitely rocks and I'm enjoying every little bit of it. However, I have not beat it yet due to lack of time, but hope I do soon.:)
