Hi guys, it's been over a year and I'm back to this thread. I was wondering, what's a good card with an HDMI port? I'm planning to hook up my Inspiron 530s to my HDTV.

I doubt the Nvidia 9 series slim line card will come out any time soon. Hm...if Galaxy's 8600GT's fan is really loud, I'll have think about it before I buy that card since I don't want something that is super loud. If only this card was selling from an American vendor and not so overprice...

Thanks for the article. Pretty much the 7600GS was more bang for the buck. ATI has been quite disappointing with their video cards. The only card that I really liked from ATI was the 9800pro which is soooo old. Well, thanks a lot guys. You guys gathered quite a lot of helpful information...

How is that card compare to the 7600?

Apparently, newegg took the 8500GT off their site...this is odd.. Also, I have one more question. I also watch movies and video clips, so with a 7600GS, it wouldn't make much of a difference comparing with the 8500GT? Thanks for answering my questions guys. It was a lot of help

It would be nice to have that 8600, but it's a bit out of my budget. Maybe I should go for the 8500GT 256mb version since I don't play a lot of games and as long as Sims 2 looks good, I'll be happy. For a game that has been out for years, it hogs up a lot of space and requires a lot of power...
