I'm in the exact same situation :) The Dell 2407WFP-HC ghost/shadow issue will probably be fixed (http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=dim_monitor&view=by_date_ascending&message.id=81607#M81607) so that's good news. Although I'm still scared of some input lag...
