The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

US? On German Amazon it's actually got more expensive by 40 €, costing now 1.170€. Unless you want wait for the new BOA Panels: https://tftcentral.co.uk/news/boe-latest-panel-development-plans-july-2022 31.5″ panel with 3840 x 2160 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. This one would have 4608...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

Maybe some wonky EU-Batch (mine is made on 07/2022), who knows... Also most german user-reviews I saw so far, almost everyone was complaining about loud fans. A guy on German amazon went through 3 of those displays and all had the problem. I'll probably keep mine though, since everything else is...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

Well got the display today. No dead pixels but with tiny bit of clouding on right top and right bottom corner, which is totally acceptable to me. Nothing like the mess that M32U was: The Image quality of the Display is great and the ATW-Polarizer is indeed a game changer. I see almost no...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

On what brightness value does it reach 140nits? You have to stay above 30 Brightness if you want flicker-free output, was this right? Also are you sure it's not the Panel-Type (IPS-Nano) why you got the eye strain? Did you use other IPS Nano panel displays except this one? Also: Black...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

Come again after there are any sanely priced 32'' options on the marked. If you meant a FALD TV, I don't want a huge-size TV as my PC display. ;-) Thanks for the tips though. I knew that #1 might become better over time or after some gentle massage with a microfiber cloth, but it's still very...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

But this will also reduce the size of the display and so make my 27"->32'' swap pointless :D (the extra pixels from going 1440p->2160p are really nice though) And my M32U is not as good as I initially thought. My first impression above was made during daytime, so I could do only limited tests...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

Well got the Gigabyte M32U delivered today. Looks like I won the panel lottery on 1st try. No dead pixels, no dust under coating, no backlight bleed. Perfect panel (EDIT: well not quite. Check the post bellow). The only thing that annoys me on it is the IPS-Glow. Its much more visible on 32"...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

Thanks for the tests. Fan kicking in starting @60 brightness is reassuring, but I still wouldn't buy a display with a fan (at least not until they start making displays with easy swappable fans. I think it would be a good idea for display manufacturers to allow easy fan moding. The nits demand...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

Sill, IMHO a fan has no to buisness being in a display. It may be fine for now, but who knows how loud it will get in a few years especially in a dusty environment...(If at least displays had a module for users to easy plug/swap fans, then It would be OK) Well, I guess I will be going with...

The 32 inch 4k IPS 144hz's...(Update - this party is started) (wait for it...)

Wanted to buy LG 32GQ950-B, but apparently it has a built in fan, can anyone confirm? (I saw a short german "review" with a guy complaining about a loud fan noise , which would be a deal breaker for me.)

Luciferin. DIY bias lighting for your monitor.

Nah, most people either have no soldering skills, are too lazy, or just have no time for a project that would take several weeks from ordering+receiving all parts to finishing it (or perhaps months, if you order parts from aliexpress) and want an easy way out :). Maybe you could try to organize...

Luciferin. DIY bias lighting for your monitor.

It really looks great, but taking a look at BOM and then searching for half a hour on aliexpress for different parts i gave up while not being even half through the list. Would be great if you had a site, where one could order either an assembled unit or a DIY kit with all the parts needed. Do...

AW3821DW (Nov 2020) with GSync Ultimate

LOL what a load of bullshit :spitoutdummy::D What's the point of a G-Sync ultimate module in this display if the display doesn't work correctly at lower Hz anyway?? ( hell, according to a few posts in this forum it does already flicker at 60Hz!) You could then just as well go for a "G-Sync...

Two new 43" 4K TVs on the way

Heh, looks like Q60R models also have 120Hz panels, but only starting from 55''... FFS, why dont they use those in 40'' or 43'' TVs? The demand is there.

Monitor desk mounts that can hold a 32" 18lb display without sagging?

Seems not many have caught it, but this Amazon arm is just a rebranded version of Ergotron LX arm. Basically its the same thing also made by Ergotron, just in black, cheaper and with "Amazon"-Logo instead of "Ergotron" one.

Two new 43" 4K TVs on the way

Too bad samsung's Q60R models dont have 120Hz panel... Only Q90R models have it, but the minimum screen size offered is 55'' for EU and 65'' for US. Too f* huge to use it as desktop screen, at least for me. Otherwise they support 1440p @ 120Hz and variable refresh rate/Freesync (48-120Hz) with...

    Wasabi Mango 43" 4K 120hz

1400 USD is too expensive for an Korean import. Also the review says it costs "only" 990.000 Won in Korea, which is ca. 916 USD. So pricewise youre getting screwed on ebay. Also the the huge tax to import it to europe, that i would have to pay... Anyway, its nice to see that there is finally...

    Any 40-43" 4k without PWM?

Scratched my display pretty badly :(

Hi, depending how deep the scratches are, you can try fixing it with either Polywatch (good but expensive) or NOVUS 2 (good and cheap in US, but hard to get in europe). I used Polywatch quite a few times myself to fix scratches on various Displays (IPS-Displays/Phone-Displays/TV/etc.) and it...

    Official Acer [XB270HU] 27" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync IPS ULMB Monitor Thread

It doesn't feel like it adds more blur when gaming at 60fps and bellow with g-sync on. Stable 60fps look pretty samey with g-sync on or with 144hz. 45-60fps looks more fluid/better with g-sync on.

Got the display today :) The panel itself is perfect, no bleed/leakage, no dead pixels or anything annoying. Really pleased with Acer's QA. Being a fan of VA-tech I was worried about the IPS-glow and shitty blacks, but it's not an issue here (well there is some ips-glow when looking at dark...

BENQ - Worst quality control? Lowest quality panels?

Had 2 BenQ Displays so far (different models) and had to do RMA in both cases. IPS a fuss?

Had several IPS-Dipslays (gave this tech a few chances) , but could never get used to it. Shitty blacks and IPS-Glow were the main reasons I went back to VA / A-MVA. Imho for general usage (games/movies/coding/browsing) IPS is even worse than a decent TN, especially if you use it a lot at night...

    Benq BL3200PT (32" 1440p)

    Benq BL3200PT (32" 1440p)
