Yeah just search around for the part numbers, either way if you don't need one of those standing desks you can adjust at will this in my opinion is one of the best out there vs. a corner style desk. I really have enjoyed it all these years.
Thought I'd share this if you are in the market for a new desk and got the space.
I've been using this Balt desk for over 10+ years now. I picked it up with the intention of having friends over and being able to LAN together for coop games and such.
It's pretty much fit the job perfectly and...
Ok so I was laughing really hard at the screenshots and some of the stories posted in this thread. I am a long time operation flashpoint veteran, I also played Arm A 1 when that came out briefly but could not get into it the same. I think part of it is that I've sort of gotten so used to the...
Me and my buddy have been really back into MP, we will sit and play red ball express with random internet folks for 4-5 hour sessions at a time. CoH is the best RTS I have ever played IMO, really excited to see what #2 will bring to the table.
Thanks for the replies guys.. have not been on here for a week or so. I might actually take a video and take some pics..i'll post them in here after. We are going to be crammed in this small room and it's going to be hilarious.
Oh and in response to some of the posts-
I do have Soldier of Fortune 2, not sure if it still works or not.
I believe I have C&C Generals.
I don't have any of the worms games.
Other games I thought about last night-
AvP original - I know it was mentioned and I do have a copy of this on Steam so it should be possible
Empire Earth - This might take up too much time, but I still have it.
In regards to the PC setup, I am providing 6 computers myself, I plan on also...
UT is not a bad idea, maybe I'll see if I can do Quake live via browser (same thing really) to keep it simple.
Rainbow six is also a good idea, I'll have to see what I still have lying around. I have 1 PC with TONS of old games just sitting on one drive, god knows if half of them even run or...
So after seeing some old friends at a Superbowl party I came up with the idea that we should throw a lan party and only play classic PC games from back in early 2000~.
The current plan is to setup 8 PC's in my room (I already have 4)
We will be playing the following-
Jedi Knight 2
Tron...
I agree with OP, this is why I now have setup 4 PC's in my room that can all run Battlefield 3. It is much more enjoyable and my friends come over all the time.
I actually live in the middle of no where and still hangout with almost all gamers who play PC.. due to the time consumption of someone hauling a system to another kid's house over the years I've actually turned my room into a mini 4 station lan setup. I pretty much have people over multiple...
Thanks for the reply, I am going to try that Corsair PSU and see what I get for performance to compare. They are $100 right now so I might go with that if the difference is major.
Alright so, some background here.
I've been building quite a few platforms recently mostly in spec just about the same.
A couple months ago I built a PC with the following-
I5 2500
8gb Corsair DDR3
Radeon 6850
Asus motherboard
This PC ran fine with an Apevia PS, the model here-...
I just picked up an I5 2500 for $200, Asus motherboard for $115, Sapphire Radeon 6850 for $150 and threw in an old 500w PS, $50~ Antec case and 8gb of Corsair memory for $50 and this PC runs Battlefield 3 perfectly fine on 'High' 16x AA enabled running 1680x1050 res.
Using it as a 'spare' PC...
