the waiting problem for me is, should i get a 1950XT now, or wait till the X2k cards are out, and try to get one around $200. But will a $200 card in that generation even be better?

ATImd is rumored to be releasing the X2400 and X2600 cards aswell. Im still leaning towards the 1950XT myself though

I've been playing the waiting game myself. Im still at a 9600XT and im deciding bw a 1950XT a 8600GTS, or waiting 3 more long weeks with my almost complete system without a video card :/ Has amd leaked release dates/prices yet?

I am currently in 1680x1050 32bit, didnt work with the ATI Cat 7.2 or 7.3s (the newest). I have a RMA # ready to send mine out, but i dont want to waste 20+ on shipping if its my video card :(

I have this same problem. People have said trying the newest video drivers solves it, but it has not fixed the problem for me.

Im thinking of switching my Acer 2216 for the 226BW. The only problem I have with the acer is the bottom being brighter/view angle problem, but i see alot of that on the samsung (as well as any TN i guess) too. The acer is 170/160, while the samsung is 160/160... how different would that be?
