This is exactly what I was looking for. No gskill over here, seems I can only get Corsair, Crucial or OCZ - any idea which would be best for gaming? Still not sure why same size memory with same latency and similar timings can vary so much in price.

Stalker plays fine on my 9800. I was surprised too! Nearly time for an X2900 though.

Agreed. ATI Tray Tools works better.

There's an option in CCC that by default, detects all devices everytime it's started. It is recommended that you disable this so that it only detects all devices when you tell it to. There's a lot of stuff you can cut out of CCC - it's all detailed in the ATI Tweakguide.
