That looks a lot like some OEM version of those Corsair K series keyboards, at least as far as the shaping of the shell and wrist guard go.
If that's what it is that's a hell of a good price.
Is the 3200 set actually available anywhere yet? I can't find it, but all the slower speeds are up on Newegg.
Or is there an equivalent set confirmed to work in the Asus Crosshair board?
Local Microcenter is showing 10+ in stock of all three processors, but has a terrible selection of motherboards.
I want my two m.2 slots so the two Asus X370 boards they have listed are both out. Ugh.
Maybe they have others and I'm just not finding them, I dunno. Maybe they'll just go out of...
I saw this but I'm not sure I have the patience to wait for them to get a bracket out. They said middle of the month or something. I'll be two weeks into staring at the rest of the hardware by that time.
As much as I hate Corsair Link as a software package they might just get me anyway since...
I put in an order for an 1800X and 32GB of DDR4 but was fairly disappointed in the motherboard selection. The ones that had all the features I wanted were Asrocks that just showed auto-notify buttons from minute one. The MSI Titanium board would work but man, that price.
I was going to wait for things to settle but I think I'm in for an 1800X preorder if I can actually get one.
Will be on shitty wifi here at work trying to do it though so maybe not, depending on how long preorders stay available.
Definitely a cool idea. Wasn't overly impressed until it said it stopped a .44. That's a powerful bullet at the ranges they were testing. Though I couldn't help but note they were firing out of a snubby little barrel instead of something with a 6 or 7 inch that would give it a little more...
Yeah releasing a new gaming laptop with a non-pascal graphics chip in it at this point means it's just not even going to get considered at least by me. There's going to be super thin and light stuff with 1060's all over the place.
I thought I'd killed most of their stuff when I did a fresh install of windows 10, but apparently some of it is linked to some things like the control software for the system's LED garbage which I need to install because I don't want the lid of my laptop glowing while I'm using it, and it also...
So they say it's only on PC's from August on but my Alienware 13 I ordered way back in like March and have been using for the better part of 7 months of the year still has that stupid eDellroot key and is vulnerable.
The August time they give is BS.
I'd consider doing a recase into an Enthoo Pro M if it ever actually becomes available.
But yeah. Otherwise things have slowed down enough that there isn't that much gain to be had from big regular upgrades.
In the meantime, my Air 540 is fine.
I actually set up one of the Lightberry kits on my on TV setup quite awhile ago now.
It just put it between the receiver and the TV. So far it's worked with everything I've run into the receiver. FireTV, Chromecast, Xbox 360 and One, PS3, a blu ray player, and the long HDMI out I ran from my...
This thing looks kinda amazing for the money.
I don't think I've bought a sub $100 case in like 8 years, but this one could get me for my next build if it shows up in time.
I bought an Asgard 2 initially after much research. Then a month later, completely unplanned, just up and ordered a Bifrost Uber. Like probably 1 whole minute from "I know, I'll get a DAC" to order submitted.
:o
Amps with a 3.5mm pre-amp out are going to be few and far between. Most common solution would be an RCA splitter or switch box to run the RCA pre-amp outs on most amps to both the Speakers and then also use a stereo RCA>3.5 mm cable to run o the wireless headphone base.
Yup. Microcenter all the way.
As many reports as there are of problems with this one I may take my laptop and a power inverter and just test it right there in their parking lot.
I'll wait until I can pick one up from Microcenter like I did with the Swift. At least then if I get it home and it's busted in some way I can just take it back or exchange it.
I use a Swift as my main monitor on my home PC and would still agree that a glossy screen and light controlled room is better.
My first 120hz monitor was the old Asus VG236HE and was glossy. It was great. It's just too small.
Regarding the Acer that is the actual subject of the thread, man, I...
I'm currently getting bent over for 20/2 and almost definitely getting throttled after 300gb, which sounds like a lot until you use Netflix to watch a whole season of a TV show and download a couple big games on Steam and realize most of it is gone. Also my internet is a useless mess every...
Wait, so as a result of this deal I end up with Charter? I know nothing about Charter. Are they just Comcast part deux? What am I in for? Did I luck out or are things going to get even worse than they are now with TWC?
What a mess.
The A40 does not have "the best sound quality" in any way shape or form. They're about as anemic as it gets on bass. The midrange and highs are clear and you get a solid enough soundstage that you can hear directional cues well, but they sound kind of... empty. Hollow. They don't sound bad, they...
It seems to identify correctly. It's listed as "ROG PG278Q" in the display list.
I've tried disabling my other monitor and then repeating all other steps too. Hence reaching the "I give up" part.
Negative.
The whole problem is that I want to turn on ULMB and can't because it's greyed out. Directions to getting it working keep leading me to "Disable GSync"
Which I can't seem to do because there is no GSync tab. I've uninstalled the video drivers, run driver cleaner type stuff...
Maybe somebody can help me out here. The Turbo button never does anything. It just pops up a box showing me the refresh rate I'm already running at. Super helpful! I know, the screen has to be moving in some way. I can put on a video or flail the mouse around all I want,Turbo button still does...
I cannot imagine wanting these things but if you want bass...
The XB series is just ear drum ruining bass and recessed everything else. Bad for your future hearing in huge ways, but... if that's what you want.
The G502 is a great mouse. The sensor is amazing, build quality is great, etc.
The one and only issue it has is that it's just... heavy. I like my gaming mouse to be fairly light weight.
But if you don't mind the weight and the shape works for you it is absolutely the best mouse out there from...
My first 3D card was a Diamond Voodoo Banshee.
It served me well through Half-Life and a whooooooooole lot of TFC and the early Counter-Strike betas :D
I have a set of ISOAcoustics stands, mostly because they were the first thing that came up when I searched Amazon when I was looking and I had a bunch of points so I got them almost free.
They do a great job though, and I like the way they seem to open up my desk. It's an illusion of course...
I gave up on dealing with stuff from Creative or anybody else. I just have a bunch of stuff from Schiit now and haven't looked back. It's been gloriously simple and the setup sounds awesome. PC specific audio gear, especially the stuff targeted toward gamers, just doesn't have anything to offer...
Loving all the Schiit gear. I also have the Bifrost (even went with the Uber, because I don't know why not) and Asgard 2. Supremely jealous of your 400i's.
I haven't been able to justify the price on the new HiFiMan cans, which burns because they look so much more refined than the old ones. But...
