Hi,
I am from Asia, I am looking for a color critical monitor (preferably wide gamut) for tethered shooting. The purpose is for client to see the images in the monitor.
26 Inch or bigger is good and anything that less that $700-800.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i do have some question. which one is best? maximize contrast ratio or best greyscale color tracking? and calibration sensor or factory measurement?

i have tried your instruction
the gamma selection/tag 5 is already on on PRG
i tried 7000k, it gives me delta E of 1.20
i tried to sample the white balance it gives me .50 delta E
both still has the red tint
im desperate for help :(

I just received my NEC 2690 and I have calibrated the LCD with the spectra view. Im using Sony SZ 670N with VGA to DVI cable, connected to the NEC
After calibration, I realized that some part of white (around RGB 242-242-242) has a magenta shift. My model picture looks like have...
Does the 3090 has better color, etc than 2690 as far as photography use?
I'm thinking to get the 3090 but I think the 2690 is enough for me.

I never use LCD, I'm using a Lacie Electron blue 19" monitor now for photoshop works
I'm thinking to buy the NEC 3090:
1. Does the NEC allow you to adjust the RGB channel individually ?
2. How does this monitor compares to high end CRT for photoshop works...
if you are saying that CRT black level will be superior to LCD, then I am not getting a LCD. I have never used a LCD before, I was always a CRT guy.
Any other comments?
