One thing I noticed is that the "brightness gradient" is clearly visible with darker colors...

Mine makes a "brightness gradient": darker top, brighter bottom. And I can't adjust that playing with the view/monitor angle. :\

@CletisMckloskey47 I have the exact same problem with my 940bw. :( It's really annoying having the bottom brighter! I'll try to connect it via analog mode, to see if it's different... Maybe we should RMA it...? :(
