I have a new HDD coming in. Once I bust out my backups and get settled in again, I'll have to get a USB/SATA adapter thing as it looks like my only choice if I want to save some of my saved files from games that annoyingly place their saved files in My Docs.
So this morning, my PC did not move on from the Loading Windows screen. I left it there for half an hour just to be sure. After some testing, I've isolated it down to the HDD, a Hitachi HDS721616PLA380.
I tried to do the system repair in order to fix whatever it was that was causing me boot...
Or he just saved you $140. :p
I was really considering the deal, too, though. Been keeping an eye out for the 2TB Blacks because they're the fastest and most reliable 2TB drives so far, or so I've been told. Can anyone correct me?
Rebranding may not have a big impact on enthusiasts, but it may on those not in the know. If they don't do their homework, they'll probably think AMD CPUs goes best with AMD GPUs because of some special synergy coming from the same brand.
Dude, that's an awesome mouse in the OP. Are you going to still use it? =P
Good choice on the G500. I'm hoping the paint on mine doesn't rub off to an unsightly color like a lot of cheap mice I had back in the day.
If $20 is too much for Borderlands, I'd give another thumbs up for Alien Swarm. You can beat it in a single sit down, but there's a little replay value. It's a blast coop.
Ah, I missed the part about him having the USB sound card thing. Well, might as well go for a ~$100 headphone and the Zalman mic then. For your needs, you'd probably want something closed. M50 would be perfect (portable, nice tight bass with impact), but it's imaging isn't ideal for first person...
For real? To be honest, I thought it was an MMO or something with the "Online" tag in the title. If it's the same game, I guess there's not too much incentive for me to play. :(
Well, there's no way to know until you try it. Considering how many units it sold, you should have a friend who bought it and is willing to let you try it out, right?
If not, you might like it anyway. Blizzard did a fantastic job on it.
IIRC, Zalmon can clip easily to the A700, but I can check later tonight. You don't need to bring the mic to mouth level at all. Mine is at... neck level and my volumes are fine. You may need to tinker with the volume for the mic, but that's obvious for optimizing any mic.
Wow, some of you guys are CRAZY.
